I wouldn't mind us moving Brown into the slot and giving Joseph a shot outside. Chicago might be a good game to experiment with that. But when Lewis missed time earlier, we went with the direct replacement with Bland, so that's probably what we'll do again.

I wouldn’t be opposed to that either. At least seeing what Joseph can do.

Not sure your point. You pointed out how Detroit lost points with a fumble. And I pointed out that we lost points with a fumble. Can't say Detroit should have gotten more points without saying we also should have.

My point is the fumble is actually a mute point to Dak and that drive. I thought you were saying we should have scored there..in my view we would been lucky to get three without the illegal contact penalty, that got us a fresh set of downs the play before. I just didn’t see that series as Dak doing anything special, actually the opposite, he almost got picked twice. First was when when he threw that arrant pass to brown deep right(three lions somehow missed the ball) or same drive when he threw behind Gallup. Just saying I feel like karma caught up with us that drive and luck ran out on a great hit that caused the fumble.

Tale of 2 halves. Can we credit coaches for halftime, 2nd half adjustments, whatever they were? 21-0 during that span.

Need to go back and look at what Quinn did. Maybe it was just us getting some turnovers and a lead, forcing Detroit out of its game plan, but I thought the defense was much better in the second half outside of one drive that looked a lot like that run-driven drive Philly had against us.

Why is it a moot point? If not for the fumble, three points was at least likely, just like Detroit was probably going to score three without the fumble. The rest of what you say has nothing to do with whether either team would have scored. The fumbles caused both teams to lose points.

You have Cooper to rely on.

Cooper isn’t anything special but his timing with the WRs are much better and he has a better feel for the game. Dak is quite erratic with his play and his decision making has always been questionable. They run way too much from the shotgun with Dak and I don’t know why; I could why if they ran some RPOs but they RARELY run them.

Not really impressed. Should have won today and the offense looked awful through a good part of the game. Need to step it up in the playoffs. The NFC is there for the taking.

Only things I didn't like were some errant throws to open receivers and throwing the ball into traffic a couple of times, at least one of which should have been intercepted. It's his first game back, so it's no big deal, but I can't say the performance was better than what Rush was giving us. Hopefully, we won't be able to say that as the season progresses.

Yes, some decisions and throws were off. But in the 2nd half much improved. He did have a few short fields thanks to the defense. It that is part of the game also. I only recall a few in the 2nd half as those others came in the 1st.

Offense moved at a faster pace, but that is to be expected as well. Let’s see how they look next week. See if some of that is cleaned up as to some throws and decisions.

I am sure all we will hear all week is about that, but yet they won’t admit about Rush and all his close INT’s as well the 3 in the Eagles game.

I mentioned Dak was 11 points better than Cooper, though someone insisted I said 2 TD’s.
I was closer than realized, if not for Brown’s fumble, I am sure they would have got a TD. Therefore my 11 points since they were 4 points better than with Rush.

I think dak would be so much better if he learned to get rid of the ball faster and practiced accuracy in his short to mid range passes. Maybe that's impossible, idk, I never played QB as a pro.

Was hoping he would learn this watching Rush, but evidently not.

Game plan had something to do with us scoring less than we could have because we are committed to running the ball and came up short a few times when Detroit was expecting it and stopped it. Hopefully, Dak gets back to where he's not missing throws like the first one to Noah Brown, and the line does a better job of protecting him than it did in this one.

True, the OL was doing a pretty poor job of protecting Dak at times.

Dak is still indecisive with the ball, gets the yips, and consistently overthrows receivers. That said, he definitely has more zip on the ball when compared to Rush.

The balanced approach on offense today will continue to serve this team well -- they've always been most successful when pounding the ball. "Featuring" your highest-paid players, and making other ego/contract coaching decisions is a dead-end. This is a team sport, where all moving parts are ideally in sync with one another. Happy to see that Tony Pollard, and a gang of no-name receivers, are gaining full citizenship in this ball-club. The NFC is wide-open this season...and will be fun to watch the rest of the way.

And: anyone criticizing the defensive scheme needs to have his head examined. It's working.
