I mentioned 6 plays, as that was what the guys on the ticket said yesterday. They liked the pick, and asked each other, and agreed...if he can get in 6 plays or so a game, and makes an impact, that is a great pick.
I hear ya. I just think he has potential for more. I’d like to see 10 plays or more a game .

Similar to how we used Pollard behind Elliott.

Jerry: Tony Pollard, while you were rehabbing we began a program to clone you.

Pollard: Cool!

Charlotte: SEND IN THE CLONE!!!!

Jerry: He is exactly like you in every way. Except 1/8th your size.

~revealing Deuce Vaughn~

Pollard: Breathtaking. I shall call him......mini me. ....Your stock is rising, Jerry Jones.

Don't know much about this guy.....but man, that video of his Dad calling him got me right in "the feels"!!! And McCarthy adding some humor with the "make sure your Dad comes to work on time". Nice! LOL
He had about 3,000 yard rushing last two seasons . I watch almost all Big 12 games. If not for his size I think he would have gone much earlier in draft. Prob best RB in conference only behind 1st round pick Robinson,

I’m not often moved by anything our front office does but yesterday is a proud day I’ll never forget.

Not only did the Cowboys in the 6th round draft a hot little and I mean very little at 5’5 commodity and instant impact player , they did it with class allowing the Cowboys scout who is Duece’s father to make the call in a very emotional moment in the Cowboys War Room .

A rare applause and shout out to Jethro and Jone$ family.
He’s a quick RB.

Not fast, but quick.

He needs to be at the Star every day. 6AM - Midnight.

If he puts in the work, maybe he challenges for RB2.

Duece IMO is the best "Space Player" in the draft. He won't break very many tackles but, he is very good at avoiding contact.

He is a TD waiting to happen every time he touches the ball.

His vision and quickness give me hope he will survive even at his size.
I think he’s good when there is no space.

Everyone keeps talking about ways to get him out in space but I watch him do impossible things when there is absolutely nowhere to go.

I hope he is everything fans are saying about him. I did not really know a lot about him. Until drafted. I need to look at the thread and finish any hight light video posts. Only had time to look at it a little. But have all morning now.

If he can give us 5 or 6 plays a game, in the Sproles / Dunn type capacity, great. Maybe he can be what they wanted Lance Dunbar to be.

Can he be a PR & KR as well. Replacing Turpin? Since they did not use Turpin at WR, and Deuce can pass catch for what Turpin did not get the chance to do.
Therefore replacing Turpin, it open up a WR spot for a better player there.
He returned a few kicks but nothing special
I see him as a gadget guy. He’s not gonna get 10-12 Carrie’s a game pounding up the middle but he’s a good receiver and tough little runner

That’s because in traffic he’s so small the defense can’t find him lol
I did notice what you are saying and he does seem to find a way out of traffic but in the nfl you have much better tacklers
