He's already better than ZekeDarren Sproles / Warrick Dunn / Eric Metcalf
He can have a place and make an impact.

He's really good! I love the pick...The feel good story is cool but I wanted this player even without it.
Dude is a little monster on the field.
18 TD’s in 2021 rushing in college is nuts!Just look at his stats . I saw him play almost every game last year . If not for being the shortest man in the NFL he would have been a much earlier pick.
I think he has the potential to becoming much more than just a few plays a game spark.

It’s odd the NFL knocked him with mega production to the point he almost went undrafted.18 TD’s in 2021 rushing in college is nuts!
I’ve watched a lot of Big 12 football and the kid can actually run inside as well. He’s so small he gets lost but that low center of gravity allows him to have amazing balance. He could be a goal line back as well! It’s odd the NFL knocked him with mega production to the point he almost went undrafted.
I know he’s small but his size is what makes him so good.
If he busts then whatever but for a 6th rounder I could totally see this guy playing great and everyone looking for a 5 foot nothing runner.
Another thing.. The NFL is a finesse league now days which I think increases his chances for success.
I just love the pick because of the upside.
Yeah he’s better between the tackles than getting outside imo.I’ve watched a lot of Big 12 football and the kid can actually run inside as well. He’s so small he gets lost but that low center of gravity allows him to have amazing balance. He could be a goal line back as well!
If Kellen was still here I wouldn’t like his chances but now it’s open season for everyone on offense IMO.Yeah he’s better between the tackles than getting outside imo.
That’s why I think he could be better than people think on early downs.
Jay Ratliff...I’ll say this about the Jones’s we can bring up his past, side kids, failures…..whatever. One thing though I will say is they stick by theirs. They are very good to their staff and players. I don’t think I’ve ever heard a ex player or staff member bad mouth them.
Very special moment. Glad they allowed us to live that. Happy for the Vaughns..I think Deuce and his family should know they got Cowboys nation by the balls. Gonna be a fun preseason.
Yeah there was him but I’m not entirely sure if that was a Ratliff or a Jerry issue.Jay Ratliff...
I think a lot of people are underestimating him due to his height. At that height people just don't take you seriously at anything. He's got a thick stature and almost supernatural cutting and quickness. He looks like he's running at film speed X2. I might be over optimistic, but if the O-Line opens up holes, he can be dangerous in the open field. Plus really tough to locate in the backfield for defenders. I have a feeling this dude is going to make some noise.I mentioned 6 plays, as that was what the guys on the ticket said yesterday. They liked the pick, and asked each other, and agreed...if he can get in 6 plays or so a game, and makes an impact, that is a great pick.
We have had a history of shorter RB’s in Cowboy history.Yeah there was him but I’m not entirely sure if that was a Ratliff or a Jerry issue.
Anyone talking about his lack of speed needs to watch the highlight starting at 2:50.
Also the third highlight in this video -
He has the ability to juke defenders out of their shoes and hit fifth gear before they even know where he went.
To me Sproles is the blueprint on how you want to use him if he's up to it. I guess we will know in preseason if he is.Use him like McCaffrey and it will work well. Just don't need to give him 15-20 carries, just 5-10 and 5 in the short passing game. Like KC uses McKinnon.
