Check it out chaps.
McCaffrey 5'11" 205 pounds 4.49 in the 40 (from three sources)
Vaughn 5'5" 179 pounds 4.46 in the 40 (Pro Day)

But egads! Watching Vaughn on film reminds me a lot of McCartney's straight-ahead style.
Smaller the Vaughn chap he is but seemingly lethal.

well, if I had 5 more inches, you could call me Holmes. the fact is the reason he is not McCaffrey is because he is so much smaller. he is more Darren Sproles than McCaffrey.

Yes, Bayou dweller, but maybe I should have compared him to ... weebo Samuel?

I am not big on this pick at all I don't think he will make the 53 so at best he ends up on the PS. He's slow, short, and light, can't pick up blitz and you can basically tackle him with one arm.

I do think it's cool they did his dad a solid and drafted him. It's a good story.
dudes be missing him with two arms. imagine with one arm?

love this pick.

I said the same thing about him. Apparently he said he patterns his game after him on the call after he was picked.

It shows.

He is also an EXCELLENT route runner with great hands.

Considering the level of nepotism in this franchise, I find it a little difficult to fully accept this "feel good" story.

This may open me to extensive criticism but can anyone really believe that some skepticism is unjustified?

His father evaluated hundreds of college playes but refused to evaluate him......which means one of his underlings had to do it. I wonder how they ended up grading Deuce. Well, he did get drafted.
They had him top of their board all day yesterday.

Just like Brugler had him as a 4th.

lord you guys and your wackey theories.

A year in the weight room, I wonder how much more mass he could put on without affecting his agility. If he could get to 190 that would look better on paper anyway. That said, I like the pick A TON. I think it's totally possible for someone like him to make it in the NFL.

That's about where the Sproles, Woodhead type dudes ended up. 190 is probably a good minimum for an NFL ball carrier. That said he runs big.
