You guys know what's as annoying as people who try and crown someone too early? The people who say people shouldn't lol. Let the hype train begin. I don't care. Why is the pessimistic crowd always trying to temper expectations? Because of past hurt? Who cares?

Deuce Vaughn has been doubted his whole life. To the point he was one of the most productive college players and went in the 6th. He's not suppose to make it in college. He did. He's not suppose to get drafted. He did. He's not suppose to make it in the NFL. And you know what? Yeah it was against back ups but who cares? I see people hyping up what Jalen Carter did who was considered the best player in the NFL draft and he only played 2 snaps against a backup. So let the hype begin. I'm rooting for Deuce.
And that’s the thing for so many fans who don’t follow College Football. Duece was a much bigger threat than his size would indicate .

And if not for his size he probably would have been a mid round pick.

He’s shown potential to be a big play threat. Can’t wait to see what he can do with the 1st team.

Deuce Vaughn stats through 2 preseason games

13 carries 64 yards 4.92 ypc 2 td's 4 catches 5 yards (longest runs 26 and 14 yards)
Outside of 2 longest runs, he has 11 carries for 24 yards 2.18 ypc

By way of comparison, stats for Rico Dowdle through 2 preseason games:

14 carries for 59 yards 4.21 ypc 5 catches 42 yards 1 td (longest runs 9 and 7 yards)
Outside of 2 longest runs, he has 12 carries for 43 yards 3.58 ypc

So while Vaughn has shown the capability of hitting a bigger play than Dowdle, Dowdle has actually been more consistent in terms of his YPC so far and has outproduced Vaughn in terms of his receiving chances......all while Dowdle has played the first half with Vaughn playing the second half...yet all the love for Vaughn.

Interesting.

You can’t eliminate his big runs. If you do that with pollard his stats don’t look as good either. Chunk plays are a big part of football

...as are plays for little to no gain. As I stated, he has shown bigger play ability but has also shown a lot of little to no gain ability.

How about you just tell me what you said?
Trying to teach you reading comprehension.

I already said it like three different times. Me saying it again is gonna help?

I even said it AGAIN...in the post you just replied to.

You can do it with a couple clicks. You can see the actual factual history of what I already told you three times.

Brick....sheesh.

Uhhh....telling me to reread a post you never made is not "reading comprehension" lol. Maybe you need to study up on what "reading comprehension" actually is.

Meh, fans love rooting for the underdog. I just wanna see if the guy can hang against the 1's. I believe he can, but it remains to be seen

Good vision is a prerequisite to be an NFL RB.

Doesn't matter how big, fast, etc. you are if you can't see the hole.
Exactly . . . Many talented RBs did not make it in the NFL because of their lack of Vision

Deuce has it
