put in Deuce Deuce Deuce....and we would have beaten Miami if our FB had grabbed the ball...but lets use him and punch it through....i hate we have to wait so long today for game....and what do you mean Rico aint playing??...i am dressing up as we speak....j/k
Or if Pollard had ran hard the play before, or if Dak could throw vrs a zone d, or if we get a few sacks against a OLine with 1 starter,

Respectfully, you may want to ease up on the, “all were excited” in reference to Deuce.

If he succeeds within the flow of our typical play-calling, great. Not a Deuce fan but I’m a Cowboys fan, so it’s a win.

What will piss me off is if the brain trust adds a wrinkle we haven’t seen to get Deuce in space (what most of you are clamoring for). I would have to immediately ask the question, “Knowing you have a non-power, talented, speedy back in TP (similar skills to Deuce) why haven’t we seen these wrinkles previously?”

If this happens, MM will have basically pulled his pants down and have shown everyone that he was content hurling TP into a brick wall for 15 weeks but NOW he makes a change?

Ehh…In retrospect, I’m giving MM too much credit to change as he lacks imagination and had limited time to implement something new.
post of the day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

might as well see what he can do
He’s had 21 carries this season for 38 yards, which averages out to 1.8 per carry. If he’s given some opportunities tonight and goes nowhere, many will blame it on the blocking. If a back needs a gaping hole to be successful they won’t pan out in the NFL. They have to be able to break and slip some tackles and make a play when there isn’t much there. If this game turns into a shootout or we’re having to air it out a lot I doubt we’ll see Vaughn much if at all unless we use him as a receiver. He’s too big a liability as a blacker and one missed block and Dak could be done for the remainder of the season.

Lol. Well kinda has too since Rico wont be playing
They could have elevated Davis but chose not to which I honestly don't understand. Davis was reasonably productive in the #2 role last season when Zeke was out. But he was also terrible in pass protection as I recall. If that has not improved then they may figure they have nothing to lose going with Vaughan. Other than about 30 pounds of size.

KJJ--- i can understand...like Deuce its not what have you done for me lately....what have you ever done???....well one thing he dont fumble the ball....maybe we can block in a way defense cannot see him and he slips through and off to the races?....or something...what ever we must stop their run...i will not handle dying
a slow death of just being run through all day...we dont have linebackers for run heavy offense so the guys up front have to win and Detroit has top 3-5 O line
so Dak has to do whatever to set up the pass and do that thing where we jump out to a lead and knock Detroit off original game plan of running down our throats
So lets just do it....also what do you think...i put up a KJJ PLAT guarantee Cowboys win??

Ronnie--- you know that saying...not the size of the dog in the fight but size of fight in the DAWG....well Deuce not considered any DAWG yet but maybe he can
hide behind O line and slip through and off to the races?....would just love to see him break a few tonight...but we know we have to do anything to set up the pass
and on defense we dont have linebackers for run heavy defense except Parsons...so the guys up front have to win a lot....just dont want to die a slow death of
being run over again...so Dak jump us out to lead where Detroit knocked off original game plan....can you believe they got Dallas -6?...because they play so much better at home?....i lay the disparity all on MM....Jimmy or Parcells put fear of God..none of the presnap penalties and being most penalized in NFL

Deuce is only emergency injury in case back.

Expect hunter lupeke to get the reps and touches as 3rd back , instead of Deuce.

Negative.

Deuce will separate his shoulder early in the game and will the team to victory carrying the load with one arm.

Why is this thread bumped.

Anyway, Deuce was no better or worse than Pollard. He did have a catch for 10 yards and threw a few solid blocks.

I want to see more Deuce. What’s going to happen, the run game gets even worse?
