It's the problem with Jerry. Instead of making a solid, football decision, he's goes for the emotional one and brings him in because his dad works for us.I’m not on board with the Deuce
Yet that's exactly how Dak ended up with the jobSo how come he hasn't played yet? You know something the coaches don;t?
Playing because of injury....isn't very encouraging.
But hey...sometimes it works out. Hoping for the best!
Respectfully, you may want to ease up on the, “all were excited” in reference to Deuce.Perhaps we will see the same Deuce we all were excited about in the preseason games.....this is his chance to change his situation
Havic---well my PLAT guarantee was removed....they said maybe give it a rest last week so i did....they did not say anything about this week...but its goneLets see if he is ready
i love Deuce too but i dont believe Deuce carries the weight Sproles did or as fast....but he is not afraid to run between tackles....Deuce Deuce DeuceI think he just needs to be ran like he was in college.
He’s a between the tackles guy.
And yet...that's what I said in the comment you quoted!Yet that's exactly how Dak ended up with the job
I'm pretty sure Deuce is faster than Sproles was. He's just not quite as big..i love Deuce too but i dont believe Deuce carries the weight Sproles did or as fast....but he is not afraid to run between tackles....Deuce Deuce Deuce
Ronnie i will check---you may be correctI'm pretty sure Deuce is faster than Sproles was. He's just not quite as big..
I checked as well.. I was wrong... Sproles was 4.49 and Deuce was 4.56. Even though I could have sworn I had seen Deuce had run 4.4 somewhere. What I had forgotten was that Sproles was a track guy who ran 10.6 in the 100m and 21.5 in the 200. So I would surmise that his top end speed was indeed superior. Vaughan however did post much better broad jump and vertical which would usually indicate him being quicker and more explosive. But Sproles put up 6 more reps on the bench which means he was a stronger dude. Sproles was a baaaad little man.. I don't know if Deuce can get to that level... but I think he can get close.Ronnie i will check---you may be correct
Here is the story that reports that he ran 4.46 at his pro day. I knew I had seen it somewhere.I checked as well.. I was wrong... Sproles was 4.49 and Deuce was 4.56. yeah i read that one too...i was going to say they were comparable in speed but Sproles came in NFL 187 to Deuce's 176 and Sproles got to 2oo in NFL ....i wishHere is the story that reports that he ran 4.46 at his pro day. I knew I had seen it somewhere.

No idea man, you were on a +2 losing streak XDHavic---well my PLAT guarantee was removed....they said maybe give it a rest last week so i did....they did not say anything about this week...but its gone
i was 8-3 on PLATS this year....not too bad....maybe people were complaining????....
Lol. Well kinda has too since Rico wont be playingI mean, December is certainly a good time to experiment.
Phil--- when we were winning 5 straight we seemed to all love MM....but we forget to bring offense schematic packet on away games....and i am assuming when you called TP non-power you are referring to last game he did not punch it through the goal line?...but TP has very strong legs and picks x-tra yards routinely though the tackles game after game....we all watch it with our own eyes.....but i dont know what happens to us....its like we have a ton of confidence ready to tryRespectfully, you may want to ease up on the, “all were excited” in reference to Deuce.
If he succeeds within the flow of our typical play-calling, great. Not a Deuce fan but I’m a Cowboys fan, so it’s a win.
What will piss me off is if the brain trust adds a wrinkle we haven’t seen to get Deuce in space (what most of you are clamoring for). I would have to immediately ask the question, “Knowing you have a non-power, talented, speedy back in TP (similar skills to Deuce) why haven’t we seen these wrinkles previously?”
If this happens, MM will have basically pulled his pants down and have shown everyone that he was content hurling TP into a brick wall for 15 weeks but NOW he makes a change?
Ehh…In retrospect, I’m giving MM too much credit to change as he lacks imagination and had limited time to implement something new.
put in Deuce Deuce Deuce....and we would have beaten Miami if our FB had grabbed the ball...but lets use him and punch it through....i hate we have to wait so long today for game....and what do you mean Rico aint playing??...i am dressing up as we speak....j/kLol. Well kinda has too since Rico wont be playing
Havic---no i did not put one in on Miami...Jake asked maybe we could take a break cause i lost 1 lately?...so i said OK....but why my last one got taken downNo idea man, you were on a +2 losing streak XD
shabazz---bingo babyPerhaps we will see the same Deuce we all were excited about in the preseason games.....this is his chance to change his situation
I agree with you in that TP does have a deceptive strength to his game and can shed tacklers. However, he is not called upon to demonstrate it that often and could he if the workload was increased? Also, if we had a true power threat would 3rd/4th and 1-2 be a passing down for us and would life inside the 5 be easier with a hammer in the backfield? We haven’t got the *** when others know we need it.Phil--- when we were winning 5 straight we seemed to all love MM....but we forget to bring offense schematic packet on away games....and i am assuming when you called TP non-power you are referring to last game he did not punch it through the goal line?...but TP has very strong legs and picks x-tra yards routinely though the tackles game after game....we all watch it with our own eyes.....but i dont know what happens to us....its like we have a ton of confidence ready to try
new stuff or "go for it" attitude then games like everyone seems fearful....i dont know???....like where TP averaging 5 yds a carry but we only give him 10 tokes?
there is a communication breakdown and i have to put it on MM....and i dont like how we use safeties as linebackers when it is obvious the team intends to run ball down our throats....its ok if a team is passing a lot more...but that will only be the case if we jump out to a good lead?....but...since i am a HOMER....Go-Cowboys
and "How Bout Dem Cowboys"....lets take these Lions and may them kitty cats
