There was considerable talk on this board during that Bears/Cardinals game about Hester.

Many said the Bears were stupid for taking this guy in the 2nd Round. I argued that they had gotten a playmaker and was trying to work him in as a Cornerback.

I think he has at least 2-3 Game Winning TDs off of returns and just got one tonight.

He was worth the 2nd Round pick if you ask me.

Devin Hester has probably won about 3 games for the Bears this year. I'll take that from a 2nd round pick any day. He is an absolute beast. And he's been doing it ever since he first touched the rock at the U.

Do I wish the Cowboys had someone this dangerous returning kicks? Of course. But I don't think anyone could've predicted his performance this year. I for one am waiting for DeShean Jackson in two years.

I think Miles has great speed. But.....it seems he is in love with the sideline. I think he can be even better when he stops shying away from his blockers and runs directly up field. I dont know....I just want to see a bit more.

I remember reading an article about Devin Hester's family a while back in ESPN the Magazine. He comes from an extremely athletic family and his dad is somewhat of a legend, athlete-wise in the area of Florida he is from.

I'll never forget when I was reading through the Bio's of all the return specialist in this past draft, and Devin stood out because of one sentence.

One scout said, this guy does something every game in nearly every punt or kick return that has the crowd going wow! When I heard that, I was convinced we should draft him.
