Does the NFL send a certified surveyor to Pro Days?

Don't think so. I think team's send their people, and they will often run the drills.

From what I've heard, they even bring tape measures to measure that the drills are correctly spaced, especially the 40. It's not in their best interest to go report some crazy number to their team only to find out they were fooled, so I think they either make sure the drill is run right or disregard the numbers entirely and just go on what they saw.

You always have to be a little suspect of Pro Day numbers... No doubt about it. But still, we knew he was quick and fast, and this is just a little confirmation.

And Jerry Rhome (one of Troy's early mentors) is very solid and respected.

At least he weighed 188. That's really not that small as far as speed receivers go.

5'11" 188 is solid, I saw a clip of his workout, and he has good muscle definition, so he's built well enough
