I don't even know what that means... Does he fall down a lot? :)

A player who's afraid to take a hit or be tackled and would just "Slip and Slide" to avoid it...

Put it this way... he lost his job last season as the primary PR and KR to an undrafted FA

No thanks. The guy has been terrible, apparently, for the Buccs and they don't want him despite the fact that they're rebuilding and likely need all the bodies they can get.

Would anyone really notice if they picked Dexter Jackson up in place of Willie Reid or Julian Hawkins who haven't done anything positive on the roster.

Dexter Jackson-WR- Buccaneers Aug. 31 - 9:09 am et

Bucs waived WR/KR Dexter Jackson.

This is the Bucs admitting Jackson was one of the worst draft picks in team history. The speedster out of Appalachian State, was the team's second-round pick in 2008. That was clearly a reach. He was terrible as a return man and didn't catch a single ball as a rookie.
Source: St. Petersburg Times

Was supposedly a good punt and kickoff returner, dont know that much about him.
Did you read your own post?

One minute you want to cut people. Next you want to bring in people worse than the players the team already has.
Why would anybody want that turd?

Is this the dude that tore through The University of Michigan in that epic game a couple years ago? That game duped the Bucs into drafting him in the 2nd? Wow! If I remember right, Jackson is pretty dang small. No thanks.

Draft pedigree aside, nothing about this guy suggests the fans or the team should want him.

I think you should've read up a bit more on him before posting this one.

Be fair. If he was a Cowboy people would say " Its his second year, lets be patient"

Especially since a handful of our rookies will be MIA

That's a guy that might be available for the practice squad and you find out if he fits in or not. Nothing wrong with taking a look with a preseason game to go though.
Pretty sure he's not available for the PS.

Why should I be fair?

If it's a high draft pick by the Cowboys, then yeah I'm going to want the team to invest more than a year and a camp into the guy.

Especially since I follow the team and will probably know more about him than say a scrub guy bounced from his team after a year and a camp.

No way would I see this roster transaction and think, "Hmm, he could be a good fit for the 'boys."

Honestly, I don't see how the guy could be any worse at taking up space on the roster than Stanback. I wouldn't be upset if he was brought in.

I think there will be way sexier cuts at WR/PR so Id fall back on this guy. But just b/c his rookie season was awful doesnt mean you can write him off is my point. If someone did that for Brewster, Williams, Hodge, Mickens, or Smith hed be called a chicken little or some such.

Maybe you should, maybe you shouldn't give up on him.

The only point I'm making is this guy isn't better than the scrubs we already have. So why suggest bring him on board?

As Winicki once told me, sometimes another man's trash really is just trash.
