Dexter

So I started watching the DVDs about a month ago and am now on the season finale of season 4. The only reason I didn't watch it before was because I never got Showtime.

I want to watch the final episode right now because the show is absolutely fantastic but yet I don't want to watch it because it is so far away from season 5 yet and I don't want it to end yet. :

I'm going to have to think this over a little bit more..

Showtime has some damn good TV series between Californication and Dexter with Dexter being by farrrrrrr #1 in my book.

The first time I tried to watch Dexter I couldn't get in to it. I couldn't see Michael C. Hall as a serial killer. I was still seeing him as the character from Six Feet Under. Once I gave it a second chance I have loved it every since.

Don't wait...

Just start watching season 4 again a week before the new season so you will be refreshed on the events...

The cool thing about Dexter is that the season finale isn't planned in advance. The Producers said they decided on the final episode outcome three weeks before they filmed it...

But great! Really fantastic characters and the sideline stories relative to the family business are good, too.

Just go ahead and watch it. You don't want to come across a spoiler on accident and have it ruined. Just watch it.
