I honestly believe the Cowboys wanted to keep him if he was willing to take a pay cut. If preliminary reports are true, he's a goner. I'm not surprised, although it could have been different if he was willing to take one for the team. He wasn't.

I have to say, this was dumb, this was a very tradeable contract. Look for him to show up in a Commanders or Eagles contract.
