Dez Bryant - ROY?

If this team was good? Sure.

Sam Bradford

Absolutely. He's playing very well at the toughest position in the NFL, and while the Rams aren't good, they're no longer the laughing stock of the NFL. Also, every week he seems to lose another receiver.

Sam Bradford is the hands down winner. He's a rookie playing the most difficult position and has his team competing for a division championship.

Truth be told, Dez isn't even the best rookie receiver (numbers and impact wise) in the league. That would be Mike Williams, WR for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Mike Williams 32-470-4 (5-2)
Dez 29-349-3 (1-6)

I personally think Dez will ultimately become the better receiver, but right now, the rookie of the year award would go ...

Don't forget Pouncy from Pittsburgh. He's doing exceptionally well for a rookie OL.

Defensive ROY is ostensibly an easy call: Suh.

I think Dezzie's 2 PR TDs would give him the nod over Williams but as of this moment they're both chasing Bradford, IMO...

Could maybe throw in Tony Moeaki Tightend from Kansas City. He has been a big role in there offensive game.

I think Dez has way more publicity going for him.

Mike Williams might deserve it but I think Dez would take it for the simple fact that Dez looks too beastly and has a lot of coverage.

He may need to be happy with the Pepsie Rookie of the Week award after the Giants game.

I can't imagine any players from this team will win anything of note this year.

I imagine they could pull in a few awards if they went on The Biggest Loser.

Offense
At mid-season, I say it's easily Sam Bradford.

Best rookie WR so far is Mike Williams of Tampa Bay

Defense
Suh...what a beast. Nate Allen has been great too.

It wouldn't surprise me at all to see Bryant make the all-rookie team though.

Wrong.

And Mike Williams is a starter.

Who had Mike Williams ranked at the #1 WR in this years draft class, excluding off the field issues? ooo yaa I was just being a dez hater.

Who will be the better WR longterm? I think it'll be a wash, Dez and Mike are very close phyiscally. Dez being 6"2, Mike 6"1 3/4, Dez 4.52 40, MIke 4.53 40. Mike Williams is the more polished catcher, better hands no doubt. he is also smarter. He is also in a system that is young and is looking for him to be their franchise WR, so logically he does have an edge.

And you were the only one...no professional scouts did.
