Thus far in the early stages of camp then only thing I have heard that Dez needs to work on is getting off the jam at the line of scrimmage when facing press coverage.

couchscout;3470407 said:Yeah, all of the videos I've seen he's been below average at getting off of the jam. He also seems to spend too much time hand fighting while running his route. It would not surprise me at all if he gets called for an offensive pass interference call or two this season as he seems to get full arm extension at the top of his routes far too often.

The pushing off at the top of the route has a lot to do with the fact that he's facing NFL caliber corners everytime he runs a route now. As opposed to his days at Okie State where he wasn't blanketed quite as closely on most of his routes I'm sure.
