This is not a good sign. These players are more concerned with outside perceptions rather than just keeping their heads down and playing ball. #wheelscomingoff

So Dez makes a tweet and you conclude that the whole team is more concerned with outside perceptions than football?

Quit making stuff up dude!

Some of you guys are sensitive sally's when it comes to this stuff....

1. Dez is focused on the Eagles if you think otherwise I have a nice piece of beachfront property in Arizona to sell you.

2. JJT is a hack always a hack

3. Y'all complain about the media and journalism and the players say enough is enough and you still ***** and complain

4. JJT is allowed in the locker room because the NFL requires the players to meet the required face time, and now maybe JJT will think twice about writing BS articles calling players out.

5. Who cares if these guys tweet or not we all wait around for info and a lot of times it comes from twitter

I think it is awesome how Dez replied to it and mentioned the fan as well.

This has been a pattern thus far this season. If it was only one incident u wouldn't hear a peep from me about it, but what about the Beaze and his wife's little Twitter gaffe?..These events begin to add up and one can easily conclude that the team is not focused on simply just winning a game.

If winning fixes everything (evidence: the 90's Cowboys) then what does losing do? On a 5 game losing streak, we have what we have... the media just compounds the perception.

Dez is just way too sensitive. Instead of worrying about twitter, he should be worrying about getting more than 12 yards on Sunday. Nothing JJT said was out of bounds.

It's funny my wife and I were talking about this very topic last night. I have a facebook account with nothing on it. No comments, pictures or videos, just my name and what city I live in. My wife hates it and will never get on it. I see people's facebook with all kinds of stuff every day that is just so irrelevant. People really think they are that important I guess. I think it's like a diary to the public to boost people's importance and connect with old friends. I have connected with a few old friends but I doubt I ever put any videos, pics, or make comments on it. It's just too risky especially in the world we live in today.
how can you stop them?

I just remember a time when you picked up a phone if you had some thing to say. Now people feel the need to say every thing they are doing in life, Who cares?

That is a stretch.

Wow you must have heard my wife and I's conversation last night LOL? She said the same thing about picking up a phone and stop texting, tweeting, etc.

To all of you that say Dez is too sensitive, I would love to see how you would handle "journalist" like Florio and JJT coming at and for you every time they get a chance-- making a non-story into a story for their own personal gain and benefit with no thought about the impact it has on you or your family.

There needs to be journalist that investigate journalist. I can only imagine what would come out.

I wish Dez had not responded, but I understand why he felt the need to and did.

Twitter is awesome if you use it properly. Follow news sites, sports reporters, and local reporters only. Maybe a few interesting people you like. There's no need to ever tweet anything if you don't want to.

You'll get news faster than you can imagine. That's why I like it. By the time I get home, no need to bother with the evening news or Sports Center. I'm up on everything going on.

The problem with the "fast" news is its accuracy. Come to think of it, that's pretty much the problem with all news any more...fast or otherwise.

I am one who said that Dez is too sensitive and he is. He's not the only one who gets criticized for a poor performance, it comes with the territory of being one of the best in the game. Who has been criticized more than Tony Romo in their career? What does Romo do? He shrugs it off and goes about his business. Dez needs to learn to do the same.
