Committee says Bryant '14 playoff play should be a catch in the future​

The NFL competition committee has reached a "unanimous" agreement that some of the league's most debated catch controversies should be ruled complete in the future, according to committee member and New York Giants owner John Mara.​

No dunce, the article you pulled (which I have had pulled on me before to make the same WRONG argument) was from when the catch rule was changed (which is why I highlighted the date of the article - 3 years after the Dez play) and the competition committee was saying that catches, including Dez', that were incomplete from the past would be catches under the new rule, i.e., in the future, not that they were incorrectly called in the past.

Intelligent people would realize that the old rule was wrong and that is why the Competition committee changed it and admitted that it should have been a catch

And Rodgers still had more than 10 seconds to march the team down to win it. And as soon as the replay was shown, I knew it would not stand because of the rules at that time. Now it would be. I think.
