Guys, I am not from the Texas area... Just want some clarity. Perhaps I missed it in a previous post, so they Tag Dez. If they signed in the one year soon and then get a long-term deal done later in the off-season. If so, what does that do to the Tag after long-term signed. That is the plan right ? Or once the tag is used, the boys cant negotiate until next year.

I could be totally wrong, but I'd suggest the money isn't the problem as much as the 'tape' and the police report from 2011, which I think is pure bat dung. Bryant has lived a private life few of us can comprehend and with the NFL being overly critical on player issues, who knows what reaction Goodell would have to a tape showing domestic abuse from four years ago, if indeed there was abuse. I frankly think Bryant is a target of the media because he is a Cowboy. If he were in Oakland, it wouldn't be an issue.
