Tony better open his eyes some. Dez took one for the team, and so did Beasley.

That was a big hit on Dez. But keep in mind Dez has had back issues for a couple seasons now. This is something that needs to be STRONGLY considered when negotiating a long term contract.

I'm surprised Dez didn't have more than back spasms after the hit he took. Frankly I'm surprised he came back into the game. He has to be hurting this morning.

We got lucky we didn't lose him for the season on that play, geez man, I hope this isn't a lingering injury. I mean there's no way he's not feeling pain right now due to that hit, that's brutal.

Per Mike Fisher.

Dez's "cramps" were back spasms that he suffered after that hospital ball Tony threw him where he got snapped in half.

Kudos to him for coming back after that hit, but you have some who want to demonize him for leaving the game.

I had back spasms after that hit.

Maybe a fine will be assessed. The league can do that even if there is no penalty called on the play. I wonder if Jerry and Stephen even complain about these things.

I thought I would be seeing another 88 get taken off the field in a stretcher.

I know I wouldn't be getting out of the tub today after a hit like that. If I could get there that is. I might still be in bed.

All this (Fish's report) implies is he is soft and lays down when he gets smacked in the mouth. I'l have to watch the game and judge for myself.

This is why you don't pay him the big money -- yet!
You really must have not seen that hit, it was a DB's dream scenario of a receiver over the middle, back turned and in the air at the perfect height do legally knock the $#%^$ out of him.

I agree that hit would have brought anyone to their knees. Thankfully he was not planted, having you feet off the ground it allows some give as opposed to a guy whose feet are grounded. None the less that was a big time hit and Dez was able to return. Is he sore? I would think so

That hit should have drawn a 15 yard penalty and a hefty fine. Even if Dez had caught the ball, a hit like that is against a defenseless receiver, something supposed to be outlawed now.

I saw the same view on the play...as to officiating as well.
