Does that tackle not fall under "hit on a defenseless WR"?
that hit worried me too and I first thought Dez was in trouble
i think the "run out of town" post was pro-dez... an attempt at sarcasm.
Per Mike Fisher.
Dez's "cramps" were back spasms that he suffered after that hospital ball Tony threw him where he got snapped in half.
Kudos to him for coming back after that hit, but you have some who want to demonize him for leaving the game.
here's the hit
I too had back spasms after just see'ing that hit.
Seriously, we don't deserve him.
We got lucky we didn't lose him for the season on that play, geez man, I hope this isn't a lingering injury. I mean there's no way he's not feeling pain right now due to that hit, that's brutal.
You really must have not seen that hit, it was a DB's dream scenario of a receiver over the middle, back turned and in the air at the perfect height do legally knock the $#%^$ out of him.All this (Fish's report) implies is he is soft and lays down when he gets smacked in the mouth. I'l have to watch the game and judge for myself.
This is why you don't pay him the big money -- yet!

That hit should have drawn a 15 yard penalty and a hefty fine. Even if Dez had caught the ball, a hit like that is against a defenseless receiver, something supposed to be outlawed now.
