That was a huge (defenseless - seemingly) hit that snapped his spine backwards - I'm sure his discs / hips weren't happy after that, I was glad that he was able to get up.

Nobody wants to see any of the players hurt. After 50 posts about how hard that hit was I think we al agree it was. His back issues aside, I'm in the trade him for picks or pay him his big salary 1 year at a time. He likely won't just take a 1 year deal but he will take a franchise tag for 2 seasons. No sense overpaying certain players longterm that have a sketchy history. Even though Dez quit on his team just last year I don't acuse him of taking the 2nd half off until more facts come out. But the overwhelming defense for Dez's crappy game even before anybody mentioned it is pretty obvious. We get it, many here love the player more than the team. He won't be the 1st football player to take a vicious hit in a vicious sport, and he won't be the last. Funny thing is many of these hits are never spoken about on this forum.

I really feel like I shouldn't have to tell you that i was joking about the people who were freaking out because he cramping because was dehydrated.

You are probably right. I'm still cranky.
