Depends on the severity of the sprain. He was putting weight on it. I think the outburst on the side line was just frustration more than anything else.

Guess we wont hear much about it until Wednesday.

The last time we went to KC, didn't our #1 receiver sit down due to injury? That worked out ok. Its the start of the Beastly era!!!

I think Harris would be a better analogy to what Austin did than Beasley, but hey, whatever floats your boat.

he came back in the game for the 2 point coversion and was not limping. i'm guessing he will be fine. can't imagine he would have came back for such a play if he was really that injured

We will be told all week that he is day to day and should be fine then he will be inactive on gameday. These things are always at least twice as bad as they let on.

Anyone have a video of this. I missed it I guess. I don't remember seeing that.

The bit of good news is he was able to return and appeared to run his pass route without a noticeable limp. He will probably be limited in practice and be a game-time decision.

When i saw Dez's outburst on the sidelines i thought his season was over.

I thought it was a high ankle sprain, which would have severely dampened his season. The way he was getting rolled up on in slo-mo, I'm just glad he didn't blow out a knee and/or snap his tibia in two.

I agree. If it was that bad he would not have been out there. Watching the replay when he sustained the injury I can't help but think we dodged a bullet.

Ain't that the truth. First seeing Romo get jacked up and then Dez, I was like "Yup, this is a great start to the season!" It was almost my worse fears realized. I can live with any other players getting knocked out for an extended period (I sure as heck wouldn't like it, but I could deal with it), but Romo and Dez are truly irreplaceable.

Great....

Translation: A 6 week injury

yea, let's not wait to hear more about it, let's make up our minds already. and we know he can't play in a week even though he was in on the 2 point conversion.

just silly talk.

I thought the same thing, maybe getting some really bad news on his injury.

So more of what we saw last night?

I will say this at least Romo did not force it, if teams want to run the coverage that NY did on Dez then don't force it to him get the ball out to the open man. People got after Romo about turnovers last season so why risk the turnover if you have an open target else where?
