He can be back if we don't rush him
He is likely out 8 weeks
I would IR him designated to return
LMAO @ everyone on here playing pseudo doctor and saying when "they think" Dez should return.
Dez will return when he is ready. If the team says 4-6 weeks, I expect 4-6 weeks. It ain't that complicated people.
Thought I'd share this, my closest friend is a physical therapist who used to be on staff with the San Antonio Spurs, and says that there is a small chance Dez plays in 6-8 weeks, but a better chance in 8-12 weeks. But, she seems to think the likelihood he plays this year is slim to none.
She also states that the place of the injury gets some of the lowest blood flow of all the bones in the foot and that's why it takes longer to heal, and says it's the same injury as Kevin Durant, and he doesn't play in a sport that is nearly as violently impactful.
This is the same diagnosis I received from an individual in the medical field who gaffed at the fact that I said "this is a 4-6 week injury." She indicated at least several months and stated its very easily could be re injured.
We will just have to wait and see but until then, speculate away lol
Yes, without access to detailed medical info, this is all speculation. But, I'm tending to believe the medical professionals with limited access over myself who wishes it was 4-6 weeks.
I just hope they don't rush him back!

He may not be back at all folks. Can't pin our hopes on him.
How does she know its the same injury as Durant. Its the same bone, but is it the same location? Speculation gone wild on here.

That is moronic. Basketball is 1000 times harder on the feet. Running and jumping several 100 times a game on a hard surface playing multiple games a week plus practice.
