Dez is a bigger problem than Dak

I'm actually torn. I believe it's a little of both. He doesn't have trouble going deep to Butler. And how good is Dez if you have to throw it to a certain spot? Saying that, Dak's throws were all over the place to Dez the first 4 games of the season. I'm torn

Dez last 5 games w Romo including the playoffs in 2014:

3-48
3-38
5-48
5-40+
2-26

Jerry Rice would slice his wrist over those numbers

Why are you looking at the last five games in 2014?

Dez posted the following numbers in 2014 with Romo:

88 catches
1,320 yards
15.0 YPC
16 TDs

Absolutely agree.

100%

Then we're talking past each other. My comment is for those that simply want to look at Dez's numbers with no context and in a vacuum (i.e. no consideration to our current offense scheme, injuries, Romo > Prescott in terms of polished passer at this point). So when some of the malcontents on here simply post Dez's recent stats, they do so in sincere stupidity at best, or at worst in total intellectual dishonesty (ignoring context).

None of these posters are creating threads about Beasley, Witten or T-Will's meager stats, but for some reason they like to treat Dez like he should be hitting on all cylinders when none of the other receivers are.

If I knew how to like your comment, I would!

Why can't I?

Look familiar?

Love the way Tony hit Dez in stride on this one:

Maybe Dak can learn that lateral pass one day

This will be relevant when either of them gets Bill as a coach along with a consistently good defense.

Teams win, not players.

Which is my point exactly. Dak doesn't have the team to succeed, much less the coaching and it has become beyond obvious. And Romo didn't have the team around him to succeed either. Maybe it's time for people to accept the fact that 2014 & 2016 were anomalies rather than the norm and until there is a change in coaching along with additions of better personel at key positions then you will continue to see the same crap show every season.

dak sucks so bad dood come on give it up. doint blame other people. hes frreakin aweful son.

i told u a zillion times dak is the worst 3rd down passer this league has ever seen rofl

"Dez is actually, from the standpoint of being to excel, is a better player," Jones told 105.3 The Fan Dallas on Friday. "I know a lot of people are rolling their eyes on that one -- he's really a better player. He's just got to get into a better position. He had a ball yesterday that he can catch. I've seen him miss that ball before, but I've seen him catch that ball, too, great periods of times. Let me say this: I feel good about Dez."

They were successful because of the running game. Other than that this team hasn't had even minor success since the days of T.O.

Dak can still play well without team success.
