Ok I’ll share some experiences I had with him. Saw him at my boys club so we we had a shot and took some pics together. He said Lox let’s stand over here so the old man ( jerrry) doesn’t see all the partying in the background.

After taking some shots he asked me why I was dogging him on the zone - which makes me believe that he or his enterouge read our junk . Promised him that I’d stop, which I did and try to say nice things. He said you ain’t got me on fantasy, i said would you? Comeon man. He said that’s fair. The we talked about gambling and he was annoyed he lost 20k at blackjack. I told him I gotta stay away from gambling cause I got a weakness for it. Then he showed me his Bentley SUV, I didn’t know they made those things cause I’m a common man.

For real though, he does love the Cowboys.

I dont think Dez is any kind of a bad person at all. In fact,... I think he is a good soul. I just think he has the mind of a child is all. Not all that sharp upstairs. Probably due to the fact that his mother was on drugs while pregnant. Having said that,... sometimes its not such a bad thing to be not all that bright. Having the mind of a child can sometimes make it so that you are not so conniving or devious which is a good thing. In a way he is actually blessed. Having watched Dez is multiple interviews through the years it is pretty obvious that he just simply isnt all that smart. His facial expressions, the words he uses, how he says things. Everyone cant be an engineer, there is no shame in it. Considering the tools he was born with and the situation he grew up in Dez has clearly surpassed even the most wildest expectations . He has made a long walk and deserves to be proud of what he has accomplished. See,.... it is easily possible to be both a good person and yet be someone of modest intelligence at the same time. Thats all anyone is saying.

At least IMO anyway. Dez is a pretty solid dude in my book. I think he plays the game as hard as it can be played and to the utmost of his ability. Truth is I just never thought he was all the smart , was never going to be a guy that could run a full route tree because he simply didnt have the intelligence to do so.

Having said that,....... he was still an outstanding W.R in his day and one that gave all he had. Gotta respect that. Im o.k with Dez being cut. Not happy about it like some are,.... but Im O.k with it. It was simply his time. The truth is the number one problem with this team is Garrett. I cant tell you how much I cant stand his offensive philosophy and game day adjustments. Simply put,... they are atrocious. Been saying it for 5-6 years now. On top of that the guy is a total fraud,... a fake. In plain English the guy is a puzz who likes to PRETEND he is hard when clearly is is the furthest thing from it. As a life long fan I think Ive earned the right to say that it will be a GREAT day when that fool is FINALLY removed from the building. Wont be long either,... Im thinking after this next season is over. Until then we will simply bide our time. But IT IS coming,... make book on that! And when it does................ this old fan is gonna party like its 19 ninety frikking 9 baby!

That’s not all that anyone is saying...
Watching a person speak with a camera in their face (or even without one) is not a way to determine how intelligent a person is. Especially considering some people have the challenge of overcoming speech patterns that are taught from the time they are born.
It’s ignorant for you to say someone is less than intelligent because you are not comfortable with their articulation.

Dez was a great WR years ago, but has declined. Because of that, all the drama, shenanigans etc. get amplified because things don't get brushed under the rug when you're not producing and causing issues. I gave up last season when he put himself first in a win or go home game that we were winning. Instead of "grinding" Dez made good momentum turn into game changing nonsense. He proved to not be mentally tough on and off the field. I wish things were different, but I'm relieved we moved on.

Exactly!!! These aren't the decisions of a genius. Although I think this speaks more about his level of maturity than his intelligence. Either way these actions serve to make most fans think twice.

We all know what he has survived to get to this point. Most of us would have folded up long before realizing our dreams. He deserves a ton of credit for over coming long odds.

But that doesn't erase the fact hes made alot of foolish choices. Those choices are the reason some people think hes stupid. Its really that simple.
