Who are we to judge this kid.

His mom is only 14 years older than him, was a prostitute, used and sold drugs, he lived in 8 different homes during high school - not really an environment conducive for success.

He's only had one incident with the law, where the aforementioned drug addict lunatic got him in trouble.

It's a shame that this is even a thread, and the mods have let it come this for. Speeding off at the light? C'mon man.

I for one think Dez has done a damn good job of overcoming adversity and making the best of his situation, and listening to all of you from your suburban Wally Cleaver upbringings trash him is ridiculous.

I wasn't even talking about the traffic incident, I don't even care about what happened or did not happen in traffic.

I have not attacked him or anything else, .. I'm referring to all of the other stuff he has done, and the tweets about Madden, etc.

I'm saying to Dez, .. you are an adult now, living in an adult world, it's time to grow up and begin acting like a man.

People grow up in all kinds of bad situations, but by the time they are adults, college graduates out in the world, .. they overcome their past and change.

I haven't said anything bad about DB other than he is a child in many ways.

His actions are fine for younger age kids. He is not a high school sophomore.
Squabbling with mall security? Bragging about his Madden exploits? Arguing with his Mom?

All fine if you are 16.

We just have different opinions of how young men that age should be carrying themselves, .. and that's ok.

When he changes his demeanor, I'll change my opinion.

no. that's what ANY Dez thread turns into. a rehash of all his past "Crimes" that only magnify them to YOU in how bad they are. his past issues are out there but he's trying to let them go and grow up.
