Obviously Dez deserves to get paid.... I like his fire more than any present Cowboy, least he shows some PASSION!

That being said, I don't believe anything more than top 5 average is justified. Even then, that's some SERIOUS dough rae me...... I'd like a Tyron contract as well with maybe $30mil guaranteed over 4yrs

We're talking about a guy who is arguably the best player at his position and is the ultimate face of the franchise at this point. He needs to get paid.

But what is the top 5? That is the hold up. The top 5 receivers in the NFL are arguably, Calvin Johnson, Dez Bryant, AJ Green, Julio Jones and Demaryius Thomas and only one of those players have a legitimate contract.

Exactly. My guess is none of them wants to set the market and are waiting on the others. Atlanta is supposedly turning their attention to Jones so maybe we get an idea of what Dez will get if he hasn't signed by then.

I agree he should be in that same group which is why I said "arguably". Brown is playing on absolute bargain though considering he signed a long term contract before his breakout year.
