Truth.com, even while playing with Tony, Dez was still underutilized. I’ll never forget the 2014 game against the Jags when Dez had 6-150 yds and 2TDs in the first half. We get back into the red zone for the second time in the first half, and Dez is singled up again, and so before the snap, Dez waves at Tony to signal that he’s singled up. Somehow Tony doesn’t see it and goes elsewhere for an incompletion. You would think it would be a no-brainer to go to Dez on first down, but nope we play obvious ball. SMH!
We left a lot of yards and TDs on the field with Dez in his prime.
