Truth.com, even while playing with Tony, Dez was still underutilized. I’ll never forget the 2014 game against the Jags when Dez had 6-150 yds and 2TDs in the first half. We get back into the red zone for the second time in the first half, and Dez is singled up again, and so before the snap, Dez waves at Tony to signal that he’s singled up. Somehow Tony doesn’t see it and goes elsewhere for an incompletion. You would think it would be a no-brainer to go to Dez on first down, but nope we play obvious ball. SMH!
We left a lot of yards and TDs on the field with Dez in his prime.

He was incredible for a 3 year stretch.
His own injuries, Romo being injured and retiring ruined it more than Garrett.
I’m not defending Garrett but if Romo and Dez stayed healthy, I don’t think he would’ve had any significant dip in production.

Yeah. Thank goodness we are making this about Dez. We all know it is more important to pad the stats of Dez and Witten than win. Sorry, but I am more of a fan of the team than any player.

My mistake.
I didn’t look at the numbers but I figured TO was pretty high. Yes he was only here for a few years but he caught 38 touchdowns...it’s a different era so I wouldn’t have been surprised if he didn’t have more than Pearson(he only had 10 less)

Nobody is rooting for individual achievement over team victories. I am certain that when Dez catches touchdowns, the Cowboys have a winning record so it is a positive correlation.
