Dez Most Receiving TD's In 'Boys History

I like Dez, some people here don't. Flip it.

It's not that I don't "like" Dez, it's that I think he underachieves a lot....too many games he's just invisable in games when he has plenty of target passes and produces very little.

Some games he's a Bentley, other games he's a Yugo, but he's paid to atleast be a Lexus on a more consistent basis.

Nobody is rooting for individual achievement over team victories. I am certain that when Dez catches touchdowns, the Cowboys have a winning record so it is a positive correlation.

I understand the frustration. Dak has to get him the ball, he's been trying to get to him, he needs to let the game dictate the situation and not force the issue. Not sure if it's Dak or the staff.

And he caught the vast majority of those touchdowns playing at an elite level with Romo catching well over 60 percent of his targets.

He’s going to go down as an all time great Cowboy, get over it.

My point being, Dez can only control what he can control, less than 1/3 of the entire phase of the game.

And he’s done that better than any WR since he’s entered the league in terms of points directly on the board. Catches and yards are nice but you can go 99 and not come away with points. Dez guarantees points better than anyone not named Gronk.

A lot of players from this era will fall in this category. I think Witten and Ware will be the only HOF Cowboys from the last 20 years.

Yeah that's a good point. And they are usually consistent. They hate everything. But love the Eagirls for some reason.

I have mixed emotions with Dez record catching TD. Bullet Bob was one of my first fav players with the Cowboys as a kid. He truly changed the game. I would have rather someone like Witten have broken it. But it’s like many of the passing records being broken in a pass happy era. Not as meaningful.

Makes little sense. It's based on the fact that his best days are behind him, and it's magnified by the fact that he's too expensive. But it makes little sense to not appreciate the player for reasons like that.

However you look at it, it's a boatload of touchdowns.
