Dez or Beckham?

Haha you might be the dumbest poster on this board. That is what's really sad. A basic concept that you can't comprehend. You even liked a comment from another poster that said the same thing I said, difference was he said he liked Odell better. Again something you fail to comprehend.

When talking about a player and being elite at a certain point that's not cherry picking pal. You still haven't answered the question, but then again I don't expect someone like you to comprehend what is wrote so good day and good luck. I hope in the future you learn to comprehend

This post is funny. You're questioning his intelligence...

Dez only led in reveiving TDs once and never in yards.

When he led in TDs his targets in the redzone were drastically higher than everone else. Several players projected to have more with the same number of targets.

Remember when we used to laugh at Giants fans when they would say OBJ is better then Dez. Well, they were right! As far as the question goes I would take OBJ over Dez even if it cost more because right now Dez is a ship anchor preventing this offense from moving. This team did better in 2016 when Beasley was the featured WR. And if they would just move Beasley around into different WR positions or have played Brice Butler more they would of been a better offense than forcing to Dez!

You question someone's intelligence but what does "receiving" mean?

Since you are so into only led the league once in TDs you care to tell us how many times Julio and Antonio has led the league in TDs.

Dez scored more TDs then anybody in the league in the 5 years he was elite.

Just leading in TDs doesn't make you elite.
Elite by definition is the best of the best, all you are using is TDs. Not top 10, the very best of the best.
There's much more that is considered even though you won't admit it. Receptions, yards, yards after catch etc...

For example: A WR can have 200 yards in a game and no TDs, does that mean he's not as good as a WR who has 40 yards in a game and 2 TDs?
No, it doesn't. Yards are important specifically in a team win because they lead to TDs even if it's the WR in question.

The only fan here "INTO TDS" is you.

Irvin didn't score all that many TD's. If you're judging WR's by TD's, then you don't think much of him.
Where did I say anything about scoring TDs makes an elite receiver. As I pointed out with Julio and Antonio they haven't led the league in TDs but are elite. There isn't one way to be elite. In Dez case I pointed out he was elite because he was a scoring machine....... Understand now

No. I think you're misusing the word "elite" which is what is making your ideas unclear.

Elite WR's run great routes, get open, and catch the ball. Period. Scoring may or may not be a part of it. The teams who vie for super bowls every year generally play ball control on O, which makes the route running WR's extremely important. If a WR is a good jumpballer, but is subpar in several other areas, he is not elite. Understand now?

Look at the yards for Brown. His top 5 years are almost double the top 5 for Dez.

Odell has never had a better scoring season then Dez. Odell best in TDs is 13, Dez has a 13 season and 16 season. Both have had 2 seasons over 1300 yards. Odell had over 1400 yards which Dez has not had.

In the playoffs Odell didn't even show up. Dez on the other hand has actually showed up and played.

You look silly if you don't think Dez was an elite receiver at one time. He isn't that same guy now but Dez was outscoring everybody in the league

There is a lot more than inside the 20 yard line, yes there is 80 more yards. About half his touchdowns were inside the 5 were most teams just run it in, luckily for him he had perfect ball placement from Romo, now he doesn't have that luxury.

In a 3 year span Dez averaged 90 catches 1300 yards and almost 14 TDs a season. Not many receivers can say the same. That's elite production. Period. He is no longer that guy and no longer elite but this b.s about Dez never being elite is foolish

AB is worth 20 million about every game he is making game changing plays, but any receiver other than him in the league at the moment I would say NO.

One of his best features, which I really respect, is he can make things look so easy, like it should just fall into place, where as we have a receiver we have to send a prayer in just to hope he can come down with a catch, but if he catches it he's the greatest ever on top 10 plays....

OK all you Dez haters. You hate him, and you hate is contract.
All you Dez lovers and in between fans. Same question.
Would you rather have Dez or have Odella and his asking price of $20 million per year.

Would Odella Becky be better off with Eli or Dak?

You have to choose one or the other, can’t be neither, can’t be both.

Have fun.
Wouldn't make a difference if the balls are high, low, off target, or late.....I take Dez. OBJ wouldn't want to be the new poster child for ALL the problems that seem to get overlooked. And OBJ would get vilified for going to Cabo. (JWitten went with Romo and came out clean).
