Dez performance prediction

If the OL performs better, Zeke stays home on St. Paddy's Day and Dak gains more confidence with the contested throw, Dez will get 70 grabs for 1100 yards and 10 TDs in 2018, his last year in Dallas

It's in the team's best interest to have him engaged early and often. If done properly, there should be no expense. He's a game breaker once the ball is in his hands.

Thanks. Definitley good to see you made it here too. That was such a short notice from them at dc.com, wasn't sure how many people seen the thread where everyone was going. Glad you did though.

I predict he won't take a pay cut as If I had my guess the money has already been spent. Dez isn't the most frugal guy and that has been well documented.

If he stays I expect more downward spiraling. He's getting old and the foot injuries have slowed him down. That's a fact.

I predict we won't change the offense and Dez won't learn how to run more routes.

If he stays we will se more of the same with an occasional wow play. More inconsistent play, and the worst part drops. It's one thing to lose speed, but he can't even catch anymore (his greatest strength IMO) and is even having trouble spotting the ball in jump ball plays.

People have to get this straight. Dak is a risk adverse player so he's not comfortable just tossing balls up to an unopen player.

why should i guess, if a new guy comes in and makes the offense overall better, and dez contributes in some way, what do i care. I also dont care if the new guy helps the team to win and if he can get something out of Dez and uses dezs strenghts, what do i care?

I will get my prediction out there first.

1. I hope Dez is gone but I can't predict that since Jerry has a soft spot for Dez.

2. My best guess is that Dez gets to stay with no pay cut since that is pretty much the worst case scenario. Dez targets stay about the same. He will end up with about the same amount of yards as he did this year with us continuing to force feed him the ball. About the same amount of TDs and first downs.

3. His drops will increase. His cancer factor will go up dramatically. He will start to show his true colors and pile on Dak. His meltdowns and frustration factor will increase based on the eyeball test and it will start showing up in the media.

4. The pressure will mount for Dez and he will feel it unless he has better success early on in the season because the media are going to start piling on him like crazy.


That's what I expect to happen. I will be pleasantly surprised if we cut Dez or if he sticks around and proves me wrong and becomes an all pro. I don see that happening.

Seen panhandling on the street in Dallas. He is holding up 2 fingers telling everyone about the quarter when he was only targetted twice.

Somebody tosses him money but he drops it down sewer drain.

CZ sends Dez the names of his biggest fans, the Dez Boiz.

Dez contacts them for a place to live but they shut the door on him now that he is not playing.

Humanitarian @Verdict finds out and gives Dez a room and food.

Dez repays Verdict like he repaid Jerry....he takes his money and then leaves after pooping on everything.
