I saw that too. I also watched the one of Austin. Both of them claimed they would just put this game behind them, but you could tell this loss was really eating at them. After the game I saw far too many smiles, hugs, and handshakes after the game, but I understand that is just professional protocal, and many of our players will take this loss even harder than we did.

Dez was pretty impressive for his first game, in my opinion. Romo looks like he already trusts him, and it was great watching him throw defenders around like rag dolls. This guy is special, and we will see it all start clicking very soon.

One thing that made me laugh was when Miles said he would just go look at things he needed to improve on and try to fix them. How do you improve from a perfect game?!? LOL...I know what he means, but still, the guy caught every single pass he was targeted for, and made some big YAC's as well. Austin was awesome tonight...He and Dez should have nothing to feel disappointed about.

He had one catch on that last drive where he just looked like he won the battle for the ball just due to sheer physicality. Loved seeing that out of Dez. He certainly didn't shrink from the big moment.

Very encouraging first game overall after we quit having him run WR screens for every route.

What a soft-spoken, polite young man.

It definitely looks like Romo already trusts him. I think we have some good things in store here this year if we can stop the self-destructive penalties.

Yeah, he already had 146 receiving yards tonight, which is almost 15% of that total after one game. I'd say that's a pretty safe bet.

Austin looked fantastic...10 of 10, 146 yards, and 1 TD. He and Romo were the brightest spots in tonight's game.

Same here.... Although in Gurode's case, he's the union rep, so that may have something to do with it. Gotta show solidarity and all.

Barron is the one who pissed me off. Not only did he take the loss well, he took it well about 10 second after he lost us the game. I'm not a knee jerker, but I seriously would think about cutting his *** and just going with Brewster and/or Young (when he gets healthy).
