hmmmmm
if this was truly the case why didn't romo say that when they ask him about Dez not being there:confused:

because it was a personal family matter and Romo was not gonna talk about it to a group of reporters.

but believe what you want.

" Romo also said as long as Bryant keeps the lines of communication open, everything's OK."

For a guy that's not a leader, he sure makes sure his teammates do things the correct way... :laugh2:

whoa another workout back to back....having a little minicamp i see. Wonder if any rookies showed up?

If I was a rook, I would have PAID to be there.

Rookies have not gone through a real supervised camp yet ...... I would not want them out there until they are shown how to practice in the NFL.

First, Osama getting a bullet in his head, now Bryant showing up for a team workout. Great week so far!

Can they anyway since they aren't under contract yet? Are they even technically part of the NFL yet?

Back on board the Dez bandwagon!:)

Don't you just love the overratctions on message boards? Dez not being there on day 1 will probably continue to be an issue for another week.

It just never ends. No matter how stupid they make themselves look, they continue to do it.

You'd think these people (and its always the same ones) would learn to take a breath and wait and see, but NOOOOOO...gotta melt down at a moments notice.

Tony Romo said Dez Bryant went half-speed and sometimes had to hold him back.

I just want him there to be with the team, even if he can't play full speed. Heck I don't care if he doesn't do a dang thing, just being there with the guys is enough right now. Romo probably should've said something about his no show yesterday, but really its just one day, and they don't have to answer to us or anyone else.

They are just a bunch of guys playing flag football right now.

Yay Dez! I'm glad he was there!

I wish we could see some pictures of all of them practicing.

I bet this thread has less then half the post, then the not showing up thread:bang2:

All I know is, there are bunch of people in that other thread looking real dumb right about now...

Loving this. Another good turn out. Glad Dez was there and had let Tony know of his absense.

Romo and the players slacking off again

Drew Brees and the Saints are going full speed, full pads, full contact!1

I think it was a fair assumption given Dez's recent history.

I don't think the board melted down at all. Some (like myself) questioned his commitment as a teammate since he was not there.

Now the facts have been presented and we know it was a family thing. But I don't think it was a bad assumption given Dez's history.

But why not wait until some kinda explanation is presented before assuming?

You had to know one would be coming, right?
