Was it a sign of respect, or was it necessary due to injuries in the secondary, but for the first time in a long time, Sherman shadowed a player all second half regardless of which side he lined up on.

I think it was the injury to Baldwin that produced that. Before that they were playing their straight up defense. I don't think they trusted their 3rd or 4th CB on Dez, which is probably wise considering he did a pretty good job of working on their #1.

Probably happened because of injury, but no doubt in my mind that Sherman is a very good corner who does what he is asked to do and excels at it.

You mean Maxwell?

Thanks, yes I said the wrong name. But yes when Maxwell went out I don't think they were willing to risk their end of the bench CBs on a WR that can out run and out physical them.

I think he is a good CB that gets by with alot on the field and that allows him to be great.

It was because of injury. Was a hell of a battle. Sherman disrupted the timing a lot, but Dez beat him for a few receptions including that beauty, and drew a few penalties as well.

Hats off to both guys, but Dez was better than I thought against him. Showed some new wrinkles to his game today. Love that.

Did you guys see that play where Sherman was worried about an interference call? He looked all around then celebrated. He got away with one there. I can tell he has respect for Dez and vice versa.

I thought the same , it was in 2&15 situation , I think . The refs were very lenient to hags today . That pick play , several holds , pass ints , illegal contacts were not called , I'm not saying Cowboys didn't get the benefit of doubt, but more often they didnt

Saw one of the Seattle radio people I follow for MLB minor league stuff basically complaining about our OLine holding all game. Personally I think both lines were allowed to grab and clutch pretty liberally.

So true and we overcame all of that. I gotta let this one sink in.

Sherman got away with a whole lot of grabbing and holding from what I saw.

And Garcon on that slant i think. I've been saying this for a while now. Peterson isn't as good as people here tend to think.
Peterson could very well be the best CB in the game...but the biggest thing is that there is no such thing as a shut down corner in today's game. WRs are too good and the rules are too limiting. That's not meant as a knock on Peterson or whoever, it just is what it is.
Sherman is a master of holding and hiding it.
The only guy better than him is probably Scandrick...
