This was done by the coaches. And I think it’s Garrett with Lineham. Nobody on that staff could have done it

Generally curious as to your opinion (and others), but if they go 8-8 wouldn't that justify the front office for releasing Dez? I mean, if you get paid as much as he was you should help the team to more than a one win difference, no?

I don’t mind releasing him but to say and not say well let’s reduce his pay which it’s seems he was open to the idea it BS to me

I mean he’s a baller and he should get the critique but don’t say he was washed up. I think Lineham knows that to run his iffense he needs total control. My opinion is that if we go 8:8 don’t point fingers st the players but point them at urself for not being vmcrestive. I think JJ chose Garrett this time because he was always criticized for sticking with players but if we don’t make playoffs it on Garrett and Linehan.

I can understand that, I'm still not sure if i believe the "willing to take a paycut" side from Dez. Like I said in the other Dez thread, it's easy to say that after you have been released.

But I completely agree on the coaches being at fault, they have held us back for far too long, and I would have rather seen them go than Dez. The only thing that gives me any amount of hope is Kris Richard, I think he will really help our D and be the DC after Rod is gone, probably/hopefully after next season.

I think the Cowboys need a young coach to bring back some sort of creative offense. I think next year if we don’t make the playoffs JJ need to go after a respected coach not a hand picked puppet who I think even Lineham knows that and that is why he has some power.

I hate the guy. But someone like Harbough could come in here and change the clap environment I hope Dez calls out Lineham out.

It was an odd late release. But IMO it took that long to sell Jerry on this.

I'm sure Lal and possibly David Robinson looked at the tape as outsiders and gave a recommendation as well. The tape don't lie folks.
