Yes.

We can give Bryant an injury settlement, which pays him half his salary and releases him from the roster and into waivers. We'll eat his signing bonus too as a cap penalty.

If none of the other 31 NFL teams wants Bryant for his rookie contract base salaries, we could either put him on injured reserve again or let him be a free agent where we could re-sign him to play again in the 2010 season under a new contract, if he chose to sign with us.
