I’ll give you why it’s debatable. I for one never said it was superior. But if you want a objective look il give you one.I know this was not directed towards me… But I would welcome a very detailed, and objective, analysis of how Washington’s 2024 roster was superior to Dallas‘s 2016 roster… Anyone who voted that way… I’d love to know why
I agree only partially… He was a huge part of it… No doubt about it. Though I do think he’s going to come back to earth a bit in his second season. And then he will likely continue to grow, as long as he can stay healthy with his frame..That's a tough assignment. Anyone who can put together a quality argument there deserves props. I'm a huge believer that we over value the QB position most of the time, but there is no doubt that their 2024 team should have just been called the Washington Jayden Daniels.
That’s a tactic from you I’d never let someone the caliber of you run me off.TMC leaving this thread

Trying hard for those likes today aren’t you?I'm not tying too, rabbit hole. I was responding to @zrinkill.
Just waiting for you to give me one.Trying hard for those likes today aren’t you?![]()
You think they were more loaded? I’m taking 16 Dallas oline, running backs, wide receivers(though that’s probably a wash) and even old man Witten. I’m taking the Cowboys secondary as well.Seeing how Daniels got his team to the NFCCG. Has to be him.
However, they were a more loaded team, then the 2016 Cowboys.
Same. I don’t think it’s particularly close either. That said, the commanders had the better season seeing as that they won two games in the postseason but that wasn’t the question. The better team was Dallas quite easily.‘16 Cowboys had a way better roster overall. I don’t see it as being all that close
I wouldn't have a clue!!!Do you know how many people post without consuming gallons of coffee first?
I would argue that Washington got somewhat lucky in the playoffs. They barely beat a Detroit team that was missing 8 starters on defense, then was crushed by a complete Philly team that set a record by scoring 55 points in a NFCCG.The defense wasn’t great, which is why we went one and done at home in the playoffs. The defense got us beat in the end. Having several All-Pros and the rushing leader doesn’t matter. It’s the end result that matters. The Cowboys had a great regular season team in 2016, but folded in the playoffs, resulting in a one and done at home. While Washington went on the road to win two playoff games, including against the number one seed.
They made it farther in the playoffs than the Cowboys have been in 30 years. Their 2024 team was better than the Cowboys 2016 team when it was all said and done. The better regular season team doesn’t always win it all. The true test of how good a team is comes in the playoffs when it matters most.
Tough day, eh kid?Trying hard for those likes today aren’t you?
I don’t call winning 45-31 as barely beating Detroit. Plus, Washington did it on the road. Detroit’s defense might have been without some people, but their offense was lethal. Despite the missing players on defense, they still won 15 games. Washington lost to the Ravens during the regular season, but that doesn’t mean they couldn’t have beaten them in the playoffs. As for Buffalo they keep coming up short in postseason. They’ve been a great regular season team that’s had their problems in the playoffs against KC. I would pick them against Washington, but that doesn’t mean they would win. Heading into the playoffs I thought Detroit had the best team in the entire league, with Philly a close second but losing their top defensive player really hurt them.I would argue that Washington got somewhat lucky in the playoffs. They barely beat a Detroit team that was missing 8 starters on defense, then was crushed by a complete Philly team that set a record by scoring 55 points in a NFCCG.
2016 Cowboys was a better overall team, but in the end it didn't matter. Was Washington a better team than the Ravens or Bills last year? I doubt you'd say yes, but the results were the same.
Fully agree.This isn’t even close.
Dak had three 1st team All-Pros on the OLine.
Zeke won the rushing title by 300 yards.
Dez and Witten, older, but still useful.
The defense wasn’t great, but neither was Washington’s last year.
You gonna be waiting until you say something I like.Just waiting for you to give me one.
Not at all. It’s the same 3 people you, OG the two dancer and 5star. Today is no different than the previous days lol. What would you guys post about if not for me or Dak?Tough day, eh kid?
lol
Then it’s not the stronger overall team lol.Fully agree.
2016 Cowboys was a far stronger overall team except Washington had the better quarterback.
I believe the question was supposed to be which team was better without consideration of the QB. The wording even after the clarification is still a little confusing though. Then it’s not the stronger overall team lol.
Why not? Then it’s not the stronger overall team lol.
