Did anyone else notice TO open on the Witten 42 yarder?

on the play that Romo hit Witten for 42 yards, that streaking totally open down the middle was none other than 81. If he had been thrown the ball it was surely a TD.

I am surprised no one especially the vociferous one did not mention it.

thats because, your blind, and there's been about 6 threadss about it.

And for the record, there was somebody above him on that play, that had a chance at making the tackle. He's not shown in the frame but for a split second.

And not only that but that would have made it more of an "against the body throw" and much tougher to complete!

Plus the guy covering him had already adjusted to the ball being thrown to Witten.

Hey, he completed it and we won. Had we scored a td on that play, then the Giants would have had some time to come back to tie it.

I didn't notice Owens on that play, but was he farther to Romo's right than Witten ?

If so, I am not sure if Romo could have gotten him the ball since he was rolling to his left.

I thought he did an incredible job of getting Witten the ball, that far down the field, throwing it right while rolling left. I'm not sure he could have gone any farther towards the middle of the field while rolling left.

I was hoping we could maybe, just maybe dink and dunk it down far enough with 1:06 and two time-outs to attempt a FG.

When I saw him let loose with that long of a pass, when all you could see was the ball in the air, I yelled, "are you kidding me?"

I couldn't believe he was going for a home-run ball, and then when Witten hauled it in, I yelled again, "are you kidding me?"

After that though, I don't think we could have done any worse, or managed the clock any worse than what we did.

There must have been at least :40 left after the catch and we ran our next play with around :16 left.

Then Adams penalty ! UGH !

Poor. Poor clock management, poor execution, ... I thought we might have blown it at that point

Gramatica was money !

WV, I thought the clock management was fine. We wanted to run the clock down.

My thought on the Adams' penalty was "where was that call when we played the Colts and their linemen moved all over".

mannings whole line practically stands up when he audibles, flo shifted his weight and boom instant flag! its not surprising as manning has the league on his pillow but its a crap double standard that I doubt will ever be corrected.

Flo touched his hand to the ground, after that he can't stand up.

It was early, and mostly against Washington, and NYG, I think.

Fitting that he comes up super-clutch against those same teams in their house.

Witten has dropped some this year as well.

He had a few drops early in the season. But lately, he has caught just about everything thrown to him. Over the past four games, he has caught 14 of 16 passes intended for him (an 87.5 percent completion rate) for 13.3 yards per catch.

If you rewatch the second angle, the defender cheats up and Flo definitely flinches. He was just savvy enough to look over at Romo and pretend he was communicating. I thought it was crap initially, but I'm positive he flinched, and it was the right call.

it was a good call, I don't argue that it was the right call. however, if you put a colts helmet on romo and flo that doesn't get called. Thats my issue.

I don't think so. If you rewatch it, check Flo out on the replay. he definitely started. I think even the Colts would have been caught there. If Flozell hadn't turned and looked at Romo (which was savvy and he probably came close to getting away with it) it would have been clearer.
