Did it seem that although he didnt make a mistake, or throw a pick...did it seem that Bledsoe threw some balls that got T.O., T.G. and witten layed out??? I didnt like that one bit gettin to see T.O. get crushed by Taylor or when Glenn got crushed on that little swing pass. Not a Romo thread, just any opinion????

Yeah, he had a few passes that left the receivers out to dry. TO took some vicious hits fron Thug Taylor. I think this was the first game I have seen Taylor in where he impressed me with his hitting ability.

Poor Glenn took some nasty shots too.

That's the life of a receiver, I know I was one. And that's why TO and Glenn need to be in tip top shape - But to answer your thread topic, there were an inordinate amount of high balls in that game...

Bledsoe has always done that, but I believe Sean Taylor had an extra chip on his shoulder for this game.

On a related note, Roy gets a ribbing about his coverage skills, but I have seen Sean Taylor get burned at least 3 times against the Cowboys for TDs, in 3 different games.

A bad back will cause high throws, but Bledsoe did this even last year from time to time.

Yeah, and that was supposed to be why Thug Taylor was better than Roy right? But Taylor did play with a lot of viciousness last night, he really seemed to enjoy going after TO.

It appeared to me that he was not sharp with his passes. They were out there in odd locations leaving the receivers vulnerable and making the catches difficult to make. I'm not saying that the drops were his fault because the receivers should have been making those catches. But he didn't hit anyone in stride really; even the bomb to Terry Glenn took a hell of an effort on Terry's part to make that grab.

Hopefully over this bye week he will get over whatever has been bothering him and start throwing like he was before the concussion he had in preseason. They may not be calling it a concussion but the way he was acting on the sideline after that hit it sure looked like one to me. Though he should be well over that by now there is still something bothering him; probably the back that Spags has reported. Let’s hope he can get past it with this week off.

I have always complained about an early bye week, but I think this one couldn't have come at a better time. This team needs to regroup and work out a few kinks.

Hopefully we can see Bledsoe and the receivers nail their timing down. Then our offense will have a chance to be really good.

Bledsoe didnt let the reciers out to dry..The brutal hits on our boys was just them laying the wood the way it should be done. Dont blame Bledsoe, that was the play and if they got layed out well oh well it's "Football".

Yeah - he threw a good amount of hospital balls yesterday. Which was one of the reasons Keyshawn got in a shouting match with Bledsoe last year.

Luckily, we came out of that game with no major injuries, barring T.O.'s hand. Hopefully T.O. can bounce back before the Philly game.

I see I wasn't the only one thinking he was placing those passes in bad spots for the receivers. Drew is usually very good about putting those passes in that good spot for them. Hopefully he will work it out over the next 2 weeks.

Throwing balls where you expose the receiver by throwing high or on the wrong side of the route is going to get them hurt. It's one thing to get hit while you're expecting it, it's another when you're arms are stretched out and you can't absorb the impact of the hit.

Cool of you to notice that too!
I was making comments about that to my buddies.

Just ANOTHER reason to start Romo over Dreadslow.

Just watch Dreadslow stink it up next game, you just know he will.

I didn't notice that, but I did think that despite decent pass protection and a nice pocket to step up into, Bledsoe's throwing motion looked "cramped" sometimes, like he thought he had much less room than he had and was trying to keep his elbows/arms in close to work in a tight space. Hard to explain, but it just looked awkward.

Yeah, there was definitely something fishy about his mechanics. They were forced; not the smooth practiced motion of an old pro that you usually see from him.

Errant throws are throws that the receiver can't catch regardless. If the receiver can get to it and have a shot at catching it then it is considered a good throw...by everyone but the receiver being hung out to dry.
