Did anyone see the shot portis took

Ladies and gents. I am a HUGE supporter of our team but just as the skins fans should probably worry more about their team than ours, we need to do the same.

Like it or not the Skins will do some damage to teams this year. Their coach and staff are a pretty good bunch. We have our OWN problems to worry about.

Clinton brought that injury on himself... he seemed to not just go for a tackle... he planted and then launched(speared) the defender... oh well....

This just in!!!
Portis to wear a dress for all future interviews... cryin and blaming the NFL for his injury and playn too many pre season games... he got hurt in 1st preseason game

I've been listening to his interviews all day... I've never heard a grown man sound so, dumb. Can anyone dig up his wonderlic score?

I love how the Washington Post is blaming the NFL and TV revenues for this injury. I am certain that Joe Gibbs wrote the article, after all, he is the "master of all causality".
:laugh2:

yea, im really ashamed to be a fan of team coached by a hall of famer:rolleyes:

So...how much air does that blowup doll of St. Gibbs hold?

I used to be great looking, good atheletic baseball player...but, those days are gone!

Parcells will be there one day...and maybe the sooner the better, but, I don't lay down at his feet! He might even be in over his head, too!

What happend A LONG TIME AGO during strike seasons, don't mean much today! Why do you think he needs to hire anyone and everyone that knows how to coach in todays NFL?

But, you sheep just keep on following...

Remember these two words..."Week Two"...

He's an idiot. I'd rather let the guy score than have my star RB injured in a preseason game trying to stop him. Spare me the he's just playing hard all the time, blah blah blah. Great players know when to live and let live.

Wow! Not one single "booya" on that whole clip from Stuart Scott. He should get a cookie.

The she-girl needs to learn how to tackle...

Oh well, I guess she's back to wearing dresses for a few weeks, or months...

It wasnt a bad tackle, Portis stuck him about as well as any offensive player I've ever seen

The trouble is, this isnt week 16, it's the preseason

That's true...but, you don't run around to meet a runner head on! And, that's basically how he got injured...he was more in FRONT of the runner rather then trying to snag him from behind...

At least that is how it looked to me...who's gonna have more force at impact?

St. Gibbs probably don't do much offensive player tackling drills...he don't have the depth to do it....

maybe if CP is injured part of the season we won't have to see his pathetic efforts to gain attention by dressing up a la Dennis Rodman. Its disgusting and gay how the media fawns all over him when he does it too, esp since its such an obvious and shallow media trick to get attention since his performances aren't quite enough to do it.

I have to disagree. I happen to think that the redkskins are going to have a top 3 defense this season.

I only see carolina and possibly chicago as better.

I see us as being better

seriously, we dont' need to blitz to get a push in the passing game, and our defenders are bigger, and just as fast as their's, plus our secondary is much better

and a quality rotation system throughout will really come in handy for late in games and the season

It is hard to acquire depth when you overpay your starters to the point you cannot make depth free agent signings and it is compounded when you trade away your entire drafts at the drop of a hat.

Bingo! We have a winner.

What you said is exactamoniously true. Hey, I invented a word.

That's the very same mistake Jethro was making for years before BP. I think their lack of quality depth is going to hurt them as the season wears on and extra coaching can only go so far. The only way they can prevail is to not have any injuries and that seems unlikely these days. Let them boast all they want to right now, I doubt they'll be boasting in December and January.

Generally their starters are good, but they are paper thin.
