Always had a fondness for New Orleans, 'cause the 'Nawlins folk I met sure knew how to party. Not sure about the New New Orleans.

I also tend to follow the teams that steal Cowboys coaches and players wholesale, even thought that means I have to pay attention to teams like the Saints and Dolphins.

Brees is a Texas guy too, so I hope he does well.

A few plays away from a trohpy? You lost in the first round of the playoffs... (not counting the wild card round, of course). Actually, I believe that you guys have 6 consecutive playoff losses.

I'll even say 1 play away from winning that game against the eventual Superbowl Champions. Had Crayton continued his route that is a TD with barely any time on the clock. We already beat the Giants twice in the regular season; a poor game by Crayton negated everything else. After beating the Giants, we would have had to play the Packers. We beat the Packers before, knocking Favre out in the process. It would have been on our turf which he never has or will win on. That leaves us facing the Patriots in the Superbowl. We ran with the Patriots almost the entire game, but a couple plays here and there sealed our doom. Who's to say that we couldn't have beaten them in the Superbowl considering that the Giants, who we beat twice and were one play away from beating a third time, beat them. So one play could have made our season. Who knows, maybe one play would have allowed you guys to even make the playoffs and then you could 'what-if' we met since you beat us in 2006.

I was playing 'what-if' to show that we were practically 1 play away from another trophy while your team had to play 'what-if' just to make the playoffs, let alone win your first trophy.

If you want to hang your hat on one game 2 years ago go ahead; I can hang my hat on 5 trophies, a playoff appearance as recent as last year and a history of dominance over the Saints.
