Did Dak bet too hard on himself?

First off, I'm a supporter of one Dak Prescott.

It feels like jerry and Dak are not on short dial.

Now that Cooper has drove the bus with the rest of the team to a 4-2 start, now enters Prescott.

The only answer to the next two games is 2-0 or God help this forum.

Time to shine Dak.

I think Dak has to be smart enough to play within the system, he does not need to be a hero. He has a good team with good players around him. In my view it is when you try to do to much that you end up failing. Troy Aikman knew to play within a system, that it was about team not himself

Let the Defense to their thing and I trust Dak will not turn it over. That for the most part has been where he is the most proud.

it's not time to push the gas just be a great bus driver.

Dak yapped a lot while he was out and it don't do him any favors coming back.

I think he will try and show he's "the man", especially with the team going 4-1 without him, and it will just lead to bad play.

The coaches will need to step up and not allow Dak to try and make it all about him.

Wait. I’m still confused. Is winning a team or QB stat? Or it depends on who the QB is?
If anyone tells you it's not team, just turn and walk away.

True, it is when you force things that bad thing happen. Dak only has to be accountable to this franchise and his teammates, the outside world as Zeke said F them

This^^^^ like said play to win. Hell, Troy rarely threw for over 300yards. But you get the feeling sometimes that Dak is listening to his critics ( yes few here too) that he's not earning his contract. Just win and all the other stuff will take care of itself.

I mean we were 12-5 last season. Yes, we were also one-and-done in the playoff and although he played a huge part in that, it wasn't all on him.

He recently made a comment about how he has seen plays from a different perspective being on the sideline. Something about trusting coaches and plays called more.

He got an 160 mil contract.

I dont think he bet to hard on him. The advertisement of his brand panned out nicely i guess.

I find it hilarious that Dak believes he is skilled enough that the coaches and the play callers had to earn more of his trust.

As if he's some kind of master of the QB position lol

Hell no.....it's always team but coz QBs are the so-called leaders and make the most money, they are obviously the target for too much criticism and many times, too much credit.

he had a bad game against TB

He got hurt

Let's wait on making generalizations until we see what he does over the next month of games. How he handles this bit of adversity (injury, little bit of controversy, extra pressure to perform) will tell us a ton about him.

Buckle up, the next month is going to tell you a lot about this man

Hope Dak doesn't watch Coopers last game 3 big ints and a few more close calls.
Plus against Cincy he had 4 picks dropped and against the Rams he had 2 picks reversed because of penalties.

That could have been 9 not even counting the "almost picked" against Philly

What I meant was, Did he push the envelope to a place where he can't deliver? Based on his salary.
