Did Dak say he is the best QB 2026? Plus, what is his true motivation!

This room is stuffed full of people who think Dak is the best QB in the league.

And its also stuffed with people who literally have said he doesn't belong in NFL

Then there is the sane group in the middle

This guy..... Whether you play sports or your occupation or whatever you do....who says they aren't the best? Who says "Yeah I'm mediocre"....who's even raised that way? Who's raised to be mediocre and think they are mediocre? What type of life is that to even live?

Mind you....these guys aren't average joes. They are the greatest athletes in the world. Even guys who you think are bums they are in a profession where you have a 1 out of 100,000 chance of getting on a team. Elite of the elite.

Reverend Lowdown.
:laugh:You just claimed that they are the greatest athletes in the world. There are good professional players, There are great Professional Players, There are Elite professional players, and then there are the greatest athletes in the world. Really, do people still think before they speak. Oh yeah, Dak doesn't so why should his cult...

what about the people who think that Dak is among the greatest athletes in the world? :) I mean you going to say people have DDS, claim to be level headed and neutral, and let that one slide?

What’s your argument?

Let's just go with the old adage that records are meant to be broken.
Speaking of non-broken records, Jeanne Calment lived to 122 years and 164 days, a lifespan record set in 1997.

Im fairly confident that with the progress in medical science, Jerry should make it to 125 years old.

You never thought of Jones outlasting you.....did ya?

Wow. Well respectfully, that's about the dumbest thing I've heard. So you like delusional players.

He (Darnold) doesn't feel that way. He, like all the others know Patrick is currently the best until something changes. When all these other QB's talk, they don't say I'm the best. They often talk about other players as being elite at this or that and how they couldn't make those plays. Brady, even though most believe he's the GOAT and rightfully so, talks about how other QB's had skills, abilities he didn't. I don't recall him ever saying he was the best. He says he always kept trying to find ways to be better and overcoming his physical limitations with the mental side of the game. Let's the results speak for him.

This is actually a great post and filled with nothing but truth and facts, no question.

Now here's another truthful fact to add on to what you've posted. Eli Manning is 2-0 vs Brady in the biggest game that counts the most. Yes many including myself will say that Brady is the GOAT.....

But according to what our eyes have seen, Eli Manning is a better quarterback on the biggest stage, the Superbowl than Brady is. Manning can boast about the GOAT being unable to beat him when it matters the most.

There are 80+ quarterbacks in the NFL every year. Dak always finishes in the top 10 out of 80+ quarterbacks every season he finished healthy.

He's not the best in the league, he's not an elite quarterback, but he's definitely amongst the greatest athletes in the world. Most of the NFL players in the league are the greatest athletes in the world.

There are alot of 1st, 2nd and 3rd round quarterbacks who hasn't played as long as Dak has and definitely hasn't put up the production that he has. The average NFL career is around 3 years for a reason, because football is violent and extremely physical.

So for a 4th round drafted player at any position to still be around for 10, 11 years as a starter and always top 10 out of 80+ players at his position..... how can he not be considered one of the greatest athletes in the world?

I just think you have a very low standard of what is considered greatest athletes in the world. So I guess you would take the top 10 players from every position in every sports league in the world, and say those are the greatest in the world, regardless of accomplishments or athletic abilities. At least from the sound of what you posted above. It is a very definition dependent, and how high your standards you set to apply, "Greatest Athletes in the World." To me, it would be a time consuming activity that requires a lot of research, where not many people qualify. Cowboys wise, through history, Bob Hayes might have been someone who was one the greatest athletes in the world. But then you might have legendary quarterbacks failing to be a greatest athlete in the world. But I guess you do you.

And those two Superbowl wins is what will get Eli into the NFL Hall of Fame. But Eli never was or will be considered to be among the greatest athletes in the world. ;)

All im saying is most professional athletes are the greatest athletes in the world. There's a very small percentage of humans that can do what they do.

Obviously being one of the greatest athletes in the world doesn't guarantee the highest success in that particular sport when its a team sport.

Bob Hayes was most definitely one of the greatest athletes in the world, especially for his time/era.

Eli is a GOAT killa in Superbowls. Thats pretty impressive. Probably not the greatest athlete in the world, I agree.
