You have to be a pretty pathetic no life having person to let a football game ruin your Christmas .....

I have 2 great kids and a beautiful wife ...... a game where my team is ALREADY in the playoffs is not gonna ruin my day.

I'm forty three years old. I learned a few years ago there are more important things in life than a game. My family's health and well being make every day more important than a Cowboy game.

There is always next week in the NFL

I'm 40 also, and I lost my dad 9 yrs ago to cancer the Monday after Thanksgiving. It took a while to get back to being able to enjoy the holidays again.

I live and die weekly with my Cowboys as my wife will confirm. But in the big picture, this aint nothing. I'm so happy to have the love of my family and friends, that while disappointing, doesn't damper my Christmas at all.

We are in the play-offs for the first time in a few years. Right now, that's good enough.

Next week...well that will be another story.

Good luck 'Boys...I have a feeling we are going to need it.

Simply, Yes. Today I got the history of the Dallas Cowboys history dvd, I guess I will watch that to make me feel better. Carrie Underwood was in the stands. Tony Romo better use that better than his offense, or I will never forgive him. Beating the Eagles is cool, but getting Carrie Underwood is priceless. This is coming from a 28 year old LIFE LONG Cowboys fan.

I had a good X-Mas but Todays performance just brought me back down from my happy place.

to be honest I'm actually depressed now..DAmn What the hell Boys Why did you have to do this?

I'm just getting ready to leave my Girls PArents house and go back to my House take a shower, make love to my women and forget about Football for 1 week.

Then maybe I can feel better

Actually no. I was pretty depressed throughout the game but once it was over, I reminded myself that I have beautiful wife and 2 loving sons all who love me regardless what the Cowboys do.

Also, after spending 2 days in the ER with a 3 yr old with the flu and a severe bronchitis and having to console a close friend whose husband is in ICU with a throat trauma, her son is quadrapledgic with severe mental difficiency due to a pool accident that occured last year and lost her brother the year before due to a drunk driver. That really gives you perspective of what x-mas and life is truly about - enjoying every minute you can with your loved ones and not gettingbent out of shape about a stupid football game..

I spent time with my family yesterday and earlier today, Right now I'm with my Girl and her family...They are Giant fans so as you can see I'm not exactly in a position to spend quality time here..I've been hearing the jabs all game and tomarrow at work i'm really going to hear it..I feel like a cornered wounded dog lol.
