We get BLOWN UP & BLOWN OUT 35 - 7 by the skins, and some are attacking Bledsoe about his reaction to one play at the end of the game.

But we don't have any "Bledsoe bashing agendas", do we? NOOOooooooo.

i already said i did - do you win the sherlock holmes award now or just the john holmes one for being the biggest prick?

and i'm not attacking - i'm asking IF he did it. you're defending a simple question, not an accusation, dude.

Think about it, ... should this even be a topic after what you witnessed yesterday ??

Or should it not at least be WAAaaaay down on the list ?

It reminds me of Parcells staring at Mc Briar after the terrible punt, ... we were down 35-7 and he is giving a "punter" the evil eye.

if our "leader" IS prone to quitting on a play then yes, it's a valid topic. now if he DIDN'T then no, none issue. i'm NOT blaming him and YES i've said several times i'm just ASKING if he did in fact do that.

and as much as i have bashed drew in the past, either show me where i have here or **** about the mindless bashing, ok? i've said it's a team loss but i do wish to know *IF* our probowl qb quit on a play, meaningless game or not.

If, after watching that mess of a game yesterday, that is your main concern, then have at it.

Bledsoe was not one that I saw yucking it up on the field with skins players, or smiling on the sidelines, as I did some others.

I am not a big Bledsoe fan, but I am just saying what I saw.

If I saw him quit on this team, in any way, I would say so, ... I didn't.

dude, i didn't see it either, i heard troy and buck talk about it - i was merely asking about drews own actions to see if he did or did NOT do this. you took it to be some jihad against drew and went way "out there" when in the end, i could well agree IF he didn't do it. even if he did, i could still agree on many of your points.

but none of those answer mine - did he walk off during the play?

I remember them saying that... but I was under the impression they meant that after INT he walked off with a "I cant win today" look

Me, I want our QB, and only shot at making the playoff trying to make a tackle on a meaningless INT at the end of the game. That's smart football.

I think that is what they meant too.

No matter what happened, I have never felt Drew was "prone" to quit on a play or his team.

I just feel we have WAAAaaayy bigger problems than this.

then he shouldn't have been playing during a majority of the 4th quarter if you take that stance, and i would agree.

then why did parcells leave him in with a pretty fierce rush against him? this is counter-logic to parcells own WIN NOW and *to me* reeks of protecting his boys from talk and/or competition.

i could be wrong, i'd love to be. but show me some hard facts, not the same speculation i have.

Yeah, I'm glad Bledsoe played the perfect game so that he's absolved of all blame.

Parcells - " I don't care who ya got, Johnny Unitas couldn't have done anything in that game yesterday. "

First of all nobody said that. Secondly, a quarterback before being able to play a good game has to be allowed to play a good game. Bledsoe was clearly not allowed ANYTHING in this game - 7 sacks 11 knockdowns, no quarterback in the history of the NFL would've had a good game behind our line yesterday, let alone perfect. No one is absolving him of all blame, however it's very clear you want to cast a lot of blame on him...like you always do. Any football fan who understands the game and realizes the quarterback relies on the other 10 players on the field more than any other position in football knows Bledsoe was not the problem with the team yesterday. Having said that he certainly wasn't a solution to our problem - no quarterback could've been, tough for someone who has a vendetta against a certain player to realize that I know.

Vendetta?

Not hardly.

I don't think you know what a "vendetta" is quite frankly. ;)

Yeah, this is the same guy that said that Eddie George had "tread left on the tire".

Next.

see me and my posts should we get totally out of the race and no other QB is allowed to play. THEN you'll know vendetta.

So by saying this you are admitting you think that Unitas, Marino, Staubach, Manning or any of these all time great NFL quarterbacks could have lead us to victory or done anything behind that offensive line yesterday? Sounds to me like someone just really does not like Drew Bledsoe if that is the case.

JC, It's like this...

Do I blame Bledsoe entirely for yesterday's loss? Absolutely not. I agree with everyone on this board that the play of the offensive line was wretched. And for that matter so was that of the defense and the special teams and the coaching... just wretched.

But Drew Bledsoe is an offensive line "killer". Someone on this site said it beautifully the other day when they said Bledsoe has the uncanny ability of taking a "C" offensive line and making it into and "F" offensive line. That's exactly what he does. Not all of those sacks and hits yesterday were due entirely to the offensive line-- not hardly.

My sentiments exactly. And people seem to conviniently forget what BP said few weeks ago ( around the Break time), that its not all on the OL, and that QB has to help out the OL in reducing the sacks. Hey, what do I know, I just like to hate Bledsoe :D
