So now that we have a starting QB and the veteran backup, we draft a QB and even if they impress, we will probably try to sneak them on our practice squad where he'll get plucked by another team. What happened to developing Bollinger?

He turns 30 this year. I dont know if there is anymore developing to do.

Sounds like it might be later rounds before we look at o-line.

that's why we don't have a LT after Flo, and have to rely on him banged up

Yup, my mock is falling into place ;)

No way Jerry keeps all 11 of those picks. We will wheel and deal.

Thats what makes Cowboys mocks so hard to predict.

Bingo!

But that's a lesson they still can't seem to learn...

I'm starting to think a guard will be taken in the fourth round.

Cornelius Lewis
Jamie Thomas
Louis Vazquez

I wouldn't classify every offensive linemen (guard) Dallas takes as "backups". They better be able to start, at least, by year two on that left side. Plus, this team has nothing at LT behind Adams, outside of Leonard Davis.

Also, the talent will drop off at pick 42 or 43. A trade down or out isn't out of the question. However, I still say that Dorell Scott will be in the mix at number 51 if Dallas wants a bigger NT to rotate in. He could line up at end, too.

Edit: Jamon Meredith would be on my radar, too. The LT positon is changing. Dallas better look around. Ryan Clady had a great year.
A 6-5, 310-315 pound guy with athleticism to block these smaller, quicker DEs is the way to go, imo.
