Im not football fan expert, but, aren’t coaches supposed to scheme against blitzes? Like screen passes, or quick slants, or having two TEs?but how much of it was extra defenders beating non linemen?
yes, it's not exactly a new thing. granted, I believe Flores does a really good job of disguising. JWill & Leupke not being available the full game was unfortunate but we still should have been able to counter it better than we did.Im not football fan expert, but, aren’t coaches supposed to scheme against blitzes? Prescott doesn’t have the ability to look for a second, third or fourth option when he’s looking to throw the ball. If he’s first option isn’t open and he’s not forcing the ball in, he will immediately look to dump it off to a RB or our slower than slow TE.The lad was targeted 9 times.
He caught 3 balls for 33 yards.
Dismal outing for me fave player.
Or did Dak and Klayton Adams check him out of their game plan?
If the D would stop just one team, this O would be just fine. The turnstiles masquerading as o linemen were most of the issue.
I think the offensive line checked them all out. With that being said I'm good with parting ways with Pickens and putting the resources into the defense. Especially DE and S.
9 targets doesn't sound like checked out of the game plan. The lad was targeted 9 times.

This is what I've said from the very beginning and maintain..this is exactly why we need Lamb and Pickens.. teams can blanket just one of them, then the other can step up.
...Right now, I think you just tag him..it's actually a good deal for both parties. This is what I've said from the very beginning and maintain..
But, we need to fill the holes in the defense..we need guys who can play right now from the draft..and some free agents.
Amen to that, from all the Farmers Branch idiots. If the D would stop just one team, this O would be just fine.
You just said he was targeted 9 times. He was part of the game plan. The lad was targeted 9 times.

Yes, our star receiver was targeted 9 times in 4 quarters. You just said he was targeted 9 times. He was part of the game plan.
We should have ran a slant and go with Pickens. Probably would have been wide open if Dak would have had time to throw it.
Schottenheimer said he had six targets and the defense committed to stopping him with the coverage calls. Said he should have committed more targets to GPThe lad was targeted 9 times.

Don’t have the time in this case, not abilityPrescott doesn’t have the ability to look for a second, third or fourth option when he’s looking to throw the ball. Between those two choices, I say he checked out. Great receiver, I was hoping a change of scenery would be good for him, and it was early, when CeeDee was out......since then, hes been hit or miss....would love to have him, but id also love to see if we could get something for his rights and use his money on defense....The lad was targeted 9 times.
