Mr Master of the Obvious. Of course it's a half season away. Still no Dallas team has ever failed to make the playoffs when they started the season 5-2. Most clubs do not fail there.

The only way we don't make the playoffs within a reasonable degree of certainty is if Romo gets knocked out.

In a moment of "living in the past", I re-watched the 1993 America's Game. That Dallas team also started 5-2. It was a Hmmmmmmm moment, for sure. I like the way this team looks this year. I won't sit here and claim that I've believed they would be good from the beginning of the season (just too many ?'s), but I said it before and I'll say it again: I'm a show me guy. Lately they've shown me that they are for real. A win tonight would be huge. I won't jump off any cliffs if they don't win tonight (especially if they actually show up), but a win would be HUUUUUGE!

This should have been the end of this thread. It is all that needs to be said about the playoffs at this point. Take care of things in December and we can put that demon to rest. Until then, there should be no talk of playoffs!
