Report are Rob is going to Tampa.

I didn't hear any report saying Tampa asked permission to interview him and he is he under contract until after the probowl since the Cowboys will coach it.

He served his purpose getting these poor talents to overachieve. But we will stock up on better players and find another good coach. He wasnt great today a great DC would have solved a one legged QB who only played from shotgun.

Poor talent will only get you so far. He did good with what he had.

Rods a good coach but not the only good coach that we could hire to run a defense. Let's make the best hire we can for that position then focus on upgrading the talent.

I think everyone on the Cowboys has known about Marinelli's desire to reunite with Lovie. They probably knew as soon as they got him in 2013 that he could be a rental dependent on if/when Lovie got another job. Once Lovie got the Bucs job a year later, it was only a matter of time

There is no proof and his contract is up... I wish him well. FYI this comes as no real surprise, myself and others called this a while ago.

I have worshiped him this year, ain't gonna lie. We would not have gotten this far without him. HOWEVER, if he really can just end this game and RUN to Tampa... then BYE FELICIA. I dont' want anyone on this team that doesn't WANT to be here. And how ANYONE can leave the COWBOYS - ESPECIALLY after a season like this one for... Tampa? Really? Then go. Leave. It's upsetting but it's ridiculous too.

I'll say this. I was never that impressed with his scheme but I admired how he got these guys to play for him. These guys gave it their all. But that's a quality Marinelli has. Players willing to die for Marinelli. That's a great coach. I'm sure if he had more talent his scheme would be a lot more productive. But he did his job. He turned the worse defense in the league into a average/good defense that gave up yards but shaved points by about 7 with no big spending in free agency.

Marinelli never got a chance to see how productive a Demarcus Ware, Spencer, Ratliff and Hatcher defensive line could've been for him.

I'm sort of excited to give a young guy a shot at being a DC that hasn't been given a shot. Someone new.

If the dude is leaving this quick then he wasn't all in with this team. If he wanted to go and had a job guaranteed, he shouldn't have even been on the sidelines. Let Eberflus have the job or someone who is all in for the team.

Honestly from what I have heard... this might surprise you... but it seems like a lot of that might be Garrett as much, if not more so, than Rod.

Not going to lose sleep over him leaving................Lets rush 3 at a one legged QB, just freaking brilliant strategy.

I hope he takes the fumbler with him, isn't Tampa like a gazillion dollars under the cap?
