Did The Cowboys Strike Gold In Free Agency...

Where is the gold?
I'm guessing you want a lot of NO answers, but I know you as a poster.
That's not what you're looking for.

I see a few okay signings.
I don't see Gold.
Where is the Gold?

And why bring in Fischer when there has been zero interest reported?
They’re more likely to get someone else’s 4th tackle who’s been in camp the last month than get a guy who’s sitting on the couch to potentially be Daks blindside protection in 6 days if Tyron goes down

Well there’s been rumors about the Cowboys showcasing Hill in preseason as potential trade bait. There was also rumors during the draft a few years ago that the Patriots were planning on drafting Hill but we drafted him right before the Patriots picked.
Interesting....Hills for Wynn? Always thought the Patriots did Wynn a dis- service moving him to tackle. Make the deal....move Wynn to left guard.

Wynn is on the books for 10M and then a FA.
So you'd have to take on that cash and then hopefully renegotiate him out.

Issue is he wants real money.

So trade value is basically non-existent at this point.
Pats are trying to give him away to get the 10M off their books.

Listen to Breer who was a long-time Pats beat writer --and one of best to ever come through here in Dallas.

:hammer:

New England has no intention of keeping him and just want to dump a huge salary.

according to this pace they do nothing in FA but they get a lot of value for the dumpster diving they get blamed for.. not bad last few seasons. add in above average drafts the last 5 years and all the team TO and somehow as bad as this place makes the Cowboys out to be, 12-5 is not bad with terrible team, terrible coach, terrible GM, terrible FO, terrible drafts, terrible FA accusations.

id say thats magical to get to 12-5 with the horrible situation the zone says we are constantly in, you know thr narratives, blame the new staff and players on things that happened before they were born. even though even since 2016 this roster has been nearly tuned over 70%.. changes are made and not needing to blow it up and get to 12-5 with a bunch of spare parts,,:rolleyes:o_O:muttley: must be black magic in play.

I agree completely. But I also think that the Cowboys have no intention of re-signing Hill in the off-season. Our DT room is crowded. So trade a 1 year DT for a 1 year Swing Tackle. Makes sense for the Cowboys and Patriots.

Tretter should have been signed a while back. Let Biadasz learn behind the vet.

Have you looked at Wynn’s salary for this year?

In the last 2 years they have signed Turpin, Barr, Fowler, Kearse and Hooker. I think that Eric Fisher might be next. They have built a good team. It looks like we have some excitement brewing.
Eric Fisher gave up 7 sacks in Indy last year. He may be better with another year to heal. But no one is beating on his door.

Sign Ndamukong Suh and only if Fisher is totally healthy and way better than last year. We do not need both Fisher and Tryon Smith to miss games.

People here get frustrated because they won't bring in big name players, but then if they did, "He's not worth that much money!"

Double edged sword.
