Did the front office swing and miss on Gordon?

The Browns are desperate for WRs but they wash their hands and moved on. He's played only 11 games since 2013 but you rather give him a shot than Butler? He's had suspension issues every year he's been in the league except his rookie year. Think there's a feeling you're getting still getting that once dominant player......I'm not sure. IMO mentally this kid is done...

Essentially we could have Gotten Josh Gordon and a conditional 4th rounder for a 5th rounder. This would happen by trading our 2018 5th rounder to the Browns for Josh Gordon and then cut Deonte Thompson to recoup our 4th round conditional pick. I wonder if the big wigs in the front office see it that way or not. I think this guy will tear it up with NE. He burned somebody bad the other day in the game and was under thrown by 10 yards. He still has his wheels.

Isn't Josh in NE, perfect place for him. He'll love playing in the cold and snow for Bellichick. Brady says it may take awhile, no one just comes in to his house and plays right away. Gotta be smart and so far Josh has proven he isn't.

I was wondering the same thing. We didnt trade for him and he wont factor much if at all in any comp picks

If you cut a signed player before week 10 they don’t count towards your comps picks.

A team can not get a comp pick without losing more players than they signed. Because Cooper and Butler were cut from their respected teams it means we don’t meet that criteria at the moment.

So in order for us to get the 4th round comp pick for Hitchens we will have to cut 1 of Fleming or Thompson by week 10. My guess is it will come down to what the teams record is week 9. Although I’d certainly rather have the 4th rounder

Yeah, we don't have enough unreliable potheads in our locker room!

You mean trade for the guy that has been suspended more than he has played? What was the FO thinking?
