They know they got screwed last year, so were turning their own screws this time around.

Yes....mostly trolling with the trick plays though
Kind of silly, IMO. But whatever
They didn't get screwed.

It would have been a real injustice for the refs to help the Lions break the rules and trick the Cowboys.

It's okay if it's the Cowboys getting screwed. Everybody likes that.

Mailbag: Did Lions try to embarrass Cowboys?

Oct 16, 2024 at 08:51 AM
yes, first they just wanted to win, but once they realized they were going to win, they kept the pressure on, no prevent defense.
Then they ran up the score and mocked them with the lineman eligible plays.

Cowboys deserved it and after that game last year, I dont blame the lions.

If so, they definitely pulled it off. A nice birthday present for Jerry!

The mentality of every team should be to beat the other teams brains in every time they cross the white line.

Of course they were trying to embarrass them. It was 34-6 when Hutchinson broke his leg. At that point he probably shouldn't have been in the game. Lions tried multiple trick plays after that, and still had Goff in the game into the 4th quarter of a blowout. Wouldn't have felt bad if another key player went down for them. I thought it was kind of bush league by Campbell. I get it that it's professional ball, both teams are getting paid, but there is an issue of class and also about keeping your players healthy.

Yeah they did my theory is Ben Johnson wanted to put out some good tape possibly getting hired by Dallas but just my wish lol.

Truthfully Lions probably were upset Cowboys didn’t put up more of a fight they had more in their bag I know Dan Skipper had a jet sweep coming n they could’ve ran lol.
Ben Johnson will have options if he’s interested in becoming an NFL head coach. Obviously that rules out becoming head coach of the Dallas Cowboys. Jerry Jones will only be able to hire a head coach that has no options and/or no self respect.

I think he’s been embarrassed enough

The Cowboys embarrassed themselves. One of the better college teams could have walked all over us last Sunday. The Joneses have turned the Cowboys into a joke.
